Golfer Reviews
Great Father’s day!
We had a wonderful experience playing this course on Father’s day! Friendly staff and beautiful course
A good test of you irons
A very pleasant surprise. 8 par threes of varying length and difficulty will test a good number of your irons and greens have enough undulations and bunkers to require your attention. The one par is 4 has water on right and requires a straight drive.
Greens had few ball marks and rolled true, would play again for sure and it only took 1.5 hours (could easily be played in an hour)
This review is personal to us. The course was great but my friends wife could not play because she hurt her back. Starfire made us pay for her round because it was within 48 hours. They did offer us a rain check, but we are from out of town.
Visitors from Europe
Very nice course to play. The only critic we have: there are basically no information at the tees regarding whole number, length of fairway and handicap
An enjoyable experience rate of play was unbeatable. I would recommend the course to anyone that wants to play a shorter 9.
The course was in excellent condition. The rate of play was unbearable.
Fun course
Enjoyed playing here. Staff was courteous and efficient. Course in great condition.
Nice golf course
Staff was very helpful and friendly. There is a range with restricted flight balls. Pretty short, tight layout with plenty of hazards. Accuracy is your goal. Greens were firm and pretty fast. Short irons would not hold. Bunkers were well manicured.
It was a stuggle
We were paired with two elderly gents who were very nice but had some health issues. One had Parkinson’s disease and had a recent stoke. The other man collapsed on the seventh tee. We were very worried about them, but they were OK when they left.
We have had many good days at Starfire so we just logged this one as an exception.
Not bad for the money
Course was in good shape greens were firm and fast pace was good no waiting on tee the price is excellent for Arizona this time of year unless you want a goat track
Good afternoon walk
This is a nice course for good afternoon walk. A good opportunity to work on a few things in your game. It’s a comfortable walking distance with enough separation between holes so that you don’t feel like you’re hitting into other players.
