TPC Scottsdale - The Champions Course

Got this on a hot deal early tee time, great course

Was excited to play and we did have a blast. Course was in good shape, bunkers could be better. Marshalls constantly keeping track of pace of play. We did have to wait at most tee boxes but it was a saturday morning. Funny we got told a few times to increase our pace but would just end up waiting at a tee box...not to too long but still waiting. Liked the course and will play again.

Certainly I’d not meet our expectations for a TPC course. Very slow play, understaffed on course. Might play stadium cause next time but will not play champions unless major improvements are made. Too many better options in the valley.

My Wife and I had a fantastic time playing TPC Scottsdale Champions course. We had played the Stadium course many years ago We both felt the champions course is the better of the two courses.

All the staff were excellent. From bag drop, starters , Marshall’s, and clubhouse staff. The entire facility and proshop are top notch. Course was in excellent condition. Greens were perfect and running quick.

We also enjoyed watching the many private jets landing at the adjacent airport during our round. TPC Champions course is the best quality course for the money you will play in the Scottsdale area. We highly recommend!

GolfNow asked for a $25 deposit at booking. Supposedly to be credited to green fee. At the course I was told they don’t do that. That GolfNow keeps the $25. I had to pay full green fee. Not Happy.

The planes flying over the course is annoying at times, but other than that great course to play

Course is a boring design of all desert type hazards. Holes are so close to each other you feel like you playing with people on other holes. For the price and how it’s hyped I expected much much more. I wouldn’t go back.

Challenging fairways, amazing conditions and excellent greens! Starter was extremely friendly! I’m personally a 12 handicap and this course worked my nerves because of pin locations and overall course difficulty! Will def play again.

We truly enjoyed our round a the Champions course. A little pricey so we went out at a twilight time..still pricey, but we enjoyed ourself

The facility and course is exactly what you would expect for $200 a round. Everything was top notch. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially Brownie. He was fun to chat with and did a great job of keeping a slow group on pace. Course was beautiful and a lot of fun. We gave eachother relief from the desert, just because it wasn't worth wrecking clubs. I personally, enjoyed watching the private jets land at the nearby airport. All-in-all, worth the money.

I don't have the level of golf to appreciate all the design of the course but we do feel privilege to have played on a famous golf course. We pulled a great game on top of it !

Not a bad thing to say about this course. Super fun layout, and excellent condition. Definitely worth every penny, I honestly can’t wait to come back and play again.
