About
TPC Scottsdale has earned a host of honors, including a spot among the top three Arizona golf facilities for service and among the "Top 50 Golf and Resort Destinations in the World," the latter by no less than Conde Nast Traveler.
The Champions Course at TPC Scottsdale sits where the Desert Course did, but offers the thrills of golfing a new course, this one designed by architect Randy Heckenkemper, who did his best to fit the new golf course into the untouched desert land that surrounds it.
The Champions Course at TPC Scottsdale rivals its better-known sibling golf course, the Stadium Course, with all the good looks and good golf one might expect in the Scottsdale area.

TPC Champions Course
Coming from out of town I was surprised to learn that the two course TPC complex winds through an office park. The “desert” hazards are basically gravel. Finally, private jets flew over our heads into Scottsdale Airport every 5 minutes. Not what we expected after paying a premium for acTPC course.
Magnificent golf course
Our foursome loved this course! We had a lot of fun even though our golf scores weren’t. Very nice layout and playability was awesome. What I didn’t like was the sand traps. Don’t get me wrong, the sand traps are nice and manicured but what the heck am I playing from these sand traps! I would recommend this course for anyone.
What’s Not to Love?
The staff was courteous and friendly. Everyone was so helpful; this was the first time we played here. The course was in fabulous condition.
Enjoyed the course
Played the course while visiting with family. It was in great shape and thought the layout was fair but challenging.
Not bad
I would come back but they really need to do something about the pace of play. Had to wait several minutes to hit most of the round. I eventually just started playing 2 balls to make it not seem so bad. Course is in overall great condition aside from the rough wasn’t really rough. I’d like to play again but I think it’s priced a little high for what you get.
Nice greens
Course was an enjoyable walk & greens rolled very nice. Nothing incredibly memorable though, appears to receive LOTS of play. Enjoyed watching the aircraft arrivals overhead.
Enjoyable round
1st time playing at TPC. Course had a few spots still muddy from heavy rain, but not affecting play, just cosmetic. We were held up by group in front of us, no big deal UNTIL #18 a group behind us felt since it was getting dusk,6:15 they would just cut in front of us even though the group ahead of us was still on tee box. Thanks guys, we didn't get to finish because of your " we first attitude." Staff inside clubhouse and outside were awesome.

Awesome… except
The course was in great condition despite all the recent storms which was impressive. Everything was going well until the 12th hole when the group behind us that had a caddy hit into us, not just on the 12th but also on the 14th green. Once, oopsie. Twice is unacceptable
