Scottsdale Country Club - The Championship Course

This course has gone downhill lately due to lack of maintenance. Most fairways are brown grass that has dried up due to no watering. Occasionally you can find a patch of green but that is far and few between. Greens are generally OK and tee boxes are average. Better Play/Netter Conditions for less $$ can be had at Silverado, Continental and Orange Tree. Do not recommend this course at this time = Not worth the price of Admission.

The greens were very fast. The fairways still had aeration holes but improving. The water was deep, couldn't even see my ball! :)

Slowest round I’ve ever played. No marshal keeping groups moving, the group in front of us was 2 holes behind and hitting 2/3 balls each, mulligans on putts! Why is there no marshal on a Saturday morning? Saw the Beverage cart for the first time on hole 9 and then again on hole 17. Total waste, good thing we stocked up before 1st tee and at the turn. Course conditions were terrible. It was like playing a wet goat track. Dead grass, mud everywhere, greens were furry and tee boxes dry and hard. Traps were muddy and flooded in a few of them. Even with the swing pass discount it was way overpriced. You might have changed the name to Scottsdale Country Club but the course felt more like Apache Junction. Do better.

Friendly & helpful staff, very good driving range with covered hitting bays, a beautiful new large putting area, the greens are in very good shape, however fairways have bare spots with little to no grass, other courses with better fairways are available for a similar price, with that said it's okay to play if you get it for a low price and not overly particular about fairway conditions

This place should be ashamed of themselves for charging anymore than 40$ to play here. Course conditions are terrible. Worst fairways I’ve seen in a while. All torn up. I see they’re charging 80$ for this weekend. Should be punished for that. Scamming people. With “Scottsdale” and “country club” in the name you expect something way way way nicer than this junk box

Range us awesome. Trackman data at every hitting station. Greens were in good condition and that's where the good ended. Tee boxes and fairways are more dead and bare than living with grass. Was tbe same way last year. Could be a fun place to play, but not so. Don't waste your time or money here to play golf. The range is the only worth while part.

CORSE IN HORRIBLE CONDITION. NO MARSHALL TO KEEP THE HACKERS ON PACE. BIGGEST FAIL, NO CART GIRL ALL DAY - I SHOULD HAVE STAYED IN BED.

After a while I got back to this GC. The price was attractive for a Monday morning round. Some fairways and tee-boxes are getting dry; the greens are in good condition.

This was our first time playing here. Course was in pretty good shape, especially for the beginning of summer golf here in AZ. I think the clubhouse could have had some more grab and go selections but had an amazing time on the course. You can tell they are doing some renovations to the course but cannot wait to go back and golf there again.

Fairways burnt out & tees not so good. Greens very average

Since the renovation they have added a lot of putting greens and a driving range but the course is absolute garbage. Started off without one cart guy helping, with three of them were sitting in two different carts. I asked them which cart is mine and they said whatever one I wanted without moving. I honestly shouldn't of paid and just went to the first tee no one would of noticed or cared. The course looks like it only gets watered a couple times a week, hardly any grass in the fairways, but the greens were in good shape. Pace of play was pretty good until we hit hole 7. Pace of play dramatically declined. It took us 93 minutes to play 7, 8, and 9 with not a single ranger on the whole course. Took 28 minutes from when we finished hole 8 to tee off on hole 9. While waiting for hole 9 to clear the cart girl finally showed up. She informed us this would be the last trip of the day. It was only 12:30pm and the course was full but not surprised another person around here who did not want to work. Finished 9 and drove up to 10 to see that the wait was already two foursomes deep. Decided to call it a day.
