Unfriendly Marshall…..

One of the marshalls was rather nasty in telling us we were playing too slowly and not keeping up with the golfers ahead of us. They were a 2-some, and there were 4 of us. He ruined what was otherwise a pretty pleasant afternoon.

Nice Public Course

One of the better public courses in the area. Good golf carts. Pace of play was great until we reached #16 where it backed up due to bachelor party groups in front, holding everyone up. Decent fairways and greens. I wish people would fix their ball marks on greens.

Starfire has something for every golfer

We played 18 holes regulation course. Front 9 is challenging but fun. Back nine is more like an executive course with only one par 5 hole.

Course is well cared for and staff is very friendly. Only complaint is GPS not accurate on par 3 mulligan course and couldn’t find holes 10-18 on king course on my GPS.

The restaurant has very good food. Wait staff was a little slow.

I recommend this course to anyone, from beginners on mulligan short course to experienced golfers on the 18 hole king/hawk course.
