Course in excellent condition
Tee Time 8am and pace of play was excellent. The course condition was outstanding. Completed 18 holes in under 3 1/2 hours. The course was beautiful with green flowering shrubbery, palm trees and several ponds. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. This was about my 5th or 6th time here and the course was better than ever.
Seriously- get a ranger on the course
The course conditions were great but the pace of play was ridiculous. There were at least two, if not three, groups waiting on most tee boxes. And foursomes apparently were allowed to split into twosomes which made the situation even worse. The final straw was reaching the 10th tee box and a group of teenage boys were there, having been purportedly sent by the starter to play nine because “the front is backed up”. On course staff apparently needs training. I do not recommend ever playing this course on a weekend

We take speed of play seriously and make sure our course marshals and starters are continually working with our golfers on their pace. It looks as though we missed some opportunities, and we will continue to improve.

Wow
First time playing course, and I was blown away…beautiful course, pace of play sufficient. For a public course, maintenance was incredible.
Only negative I have is the tee boxes were rock hard, especially on front 9…if playing, be aware will probably snap some tees trying to tee it up.
Unfortunately I live about 35 miles away, so won’t play here much, but will get back!

Fun course with challenging holes that can require length occasionally and driving accuracy often.
Only complaint was the tee boxes were like cement and you needed a hammer to put in a tee and if you did get it. In, you would break it.

Starfire golf course
Course was in great shape. Tee boxes are a bit hard for sinking tees into the ground. Fairways are a bit tight but not impossible. Played as a three-some on a Tuesday afternoon around 3:00 pm and we never waited on a group in front of us nor were we pushed by any groups behind us. Very enjoyable late February afternoon of golf.

Fun round and good pace
We played on a Saturday shortly after 2pm.
We were warned that we would not. finish 18 it pace was good and we played 17 and other twosome played 18. Enjoyable fun round.
