Worth a play
Some nice , interesting holes.
A few holes play alongside a busy road but not too much of a problem.
Some of the other holes weave in between residential properties but overall an enjoyable round played at a good pace ( though we were first off )

Slow greens
The greens were slow and bumpy which suspect was a result of the recent rainy weather. The water hazards were quite full. Fairways were very good. The course was fair but ii am not a big fan of courses where each hole is surrounded by homes. Just not a memorable course. It’s Ok for one time.

True, we do have a lovely neighborhood that surrounds us but who would have thought that when the course was built 71 years ago . . . a lot has changed in those years for sure!

Nice course
Nice course that winds through subdivisions. Very lush fairways and rough (Jan). Greens good - maybe thin )??) but I’m used to Midwest green turfs. They did putt true.

Course was well maintained and the staff was awesome
First time playing a course in Arizona and couldn’t have been happier with the course conditions and the weather I might add. Will definitely play it again next year.

The course was in perfect condition. We made it through 18 in 4 hours but we were the second off in the morning which helps. Rangers are friendly. My only critique would be the bunkers. They could use some more sand.

Great Track
Even though there was a frost delay we got out at noon our scheduled tee time. Played in four hours. Always enjoy playing at Starfire. Definitely worth the money.

Great course very tough
First time playing here was pretty cool from the time you enter the club house area the range and the course itself is fantastic very challenging course with great views on the back.nine. if you cam get a chance to ever play this course it would be well worth it I was fortunate to get a $150 round on golf now for the round on Christmas day.
