Reservation got lost
We didn't get to play because the reservation with golf now somehow got lost even though I had the confirmation email. So we got to go experience a breakfast burrito and leave.
Course looked great. Would have been fun to play it.

Great course for the money
It’s starts with the super friendly staff upon arrival and checking in to David the starter. Very welcoming and the bag boys actually thanked us for playing as did the rangers. The course is in super good condition. Well laid out. Room to spray your balls a bit left and right.

Slow hot day!
1/2 the course was cart path only that caused a tremendous backlog - we started approximately 25 minutes later than our original starting time . During overseeding to start groups every 8 minutes is a horrendous practice! As well as charging full high season rates! I’m one of those players that cleans his clubs after every shot- and declined the kind offer of the staff to wipe down my clubs only to be reminded that they depend on tips was not appreciated .
I’ve played here several times in the past- this was my final time!

A nice meandering course.
I will be returning with my golf buddies before the end of the month. I'm sure they will enjoy it too! Greens were great shape except one with a few weeds, but cut properly, still some visible spots from the overseeding which is to be expected this time of year. Friendly employees and they let you know they appreciate you being there.

This course is great for camels
At 100 degrees it was at least good that some holes had water available to drink and the water was cold. However, we were told there'd be a refreshment cart available on the course and we only saw rangers. Heat stroke is real!

Not Worth the Money
Overseed is not established yet and the greens are terrible. At half the price you could justify playing there, but you will still be disappointed in the greens.
Thank you for taking time to provide us with your feedback. We regret the conditions you experienced during your round at Starfire. Please be assured that we are working very hard to ensure top conditions. We will soon have the winter overseeding fully grown in. Like all the area courses, we will take time to get the overseed cut down to true playing heights.

Good course
Very nice course. I didn't give it 5 stars because it was recently out of overseed and the practice area was closed. Pace of play was slow too.

We take speed of play seriously and make sure our course marshals and starters are continually working with our golfers on their pace. We are just out of overseed and the cart path only restrictions do create issues for a fast speed of play. It looks as though we missed an opportunity, and we will continue to improve.

Not a good day
Front 9 was in very bad shape. Back 9 was goog but I had to stay on the cart path only. I must have walked 4 miles! I never would have played there if they would have told be about the above before I booked the round.and showed up.

Overpriced for conditions
Way over priced for par 3 course. Condition of executive course was poor. Couldn’t even get tee into the ground on many of the tee boxes.

I wish they would have indicated that the course was shut down for over-seeding. We have 100s of rounds here. We are regulars.

Overseed special
Played the short 9 front and the King front due to overseeding.
Cart path only so we got our steps in. Course Marshall Ed was friendly and helpful . Pace was good . Got out early to beat the heat.
The down side of the early round wet over seeding provided lots of muddy balls.
We had a hole in one in the group so made the round memorable.
