About
When the architect Rees Jones created the golf course at the Legend Trail Golf Club, he created a golf course that brings out the Old West-style air of Scottsdale and a fun and testing golf course with greens made of bent grass. It's a premium golf course smack dab in the Sonora Desert.
The golf course at the Legend Trail Golf Club features broad fairways, diminutive bunkering and tees placed on islands, and has been called one of the Top 100 golf courses by Golf Magazine. The magazine also gives Legend Trail 4.5 stars out of five among its
Best Places to Play, and has one of the Top 100 Woman-Friendly Fairways, according to Golf For Women magazine. Panoramas include local sites like Pinnacle Peak, and a round at Legend Trail Golf Club gives all levels of golfer several different shot-making options.
Golf a late-afternoon round on Friday or Saturday, and head back to the Trail's End Grill from 4 to 6 p.m. for specials on drinks and appetizers.

Very nice course
This was our first time play this course , and we were pleasantly surprised how nice it was . The fairways were well maintained and the greens rolled as they should . The course is also very scenic, with a mountain/desert feel . This is a course we will play again .

As usual the course was in good shape. The staff was both friendly and helpful. I can't wait until I play the course again.
Great Time
Given the course was in the middle of summer, it was in great shape, great layout, and would recommend playing here. From the staff at the pro shop, to the starter, and even cart girl, they were all wonderful.
Course Not At It’s Best
Summer heat and lack of rain probably has much to do with the lesser conditions presently in play at the course. Tee boxes need some TLC; fairways are rough; greens were fair to good; sand traps full, but many of them wet. Pace of play was excellent, as no one was on the course. Unfortunately, there was no “cart girl” service and the restaurant was closed. If you find a low rate, it is still worth visiting. Note too that the driving range surface was in very poor condition.
108° at tee off!
Great golf course! Everything was in fantastic shape. Beverage cart came every 3 holes. However, it was a 108° at tee off. Even though there was plenty of water on the course and the beverage cart came by often, it was hot AF!
Solid North Scottsdale Golf
It may not be Silver Leaf or Grayhawk. But a very solid track!! Challenging and fair
