Legend Trail Golf Club

I played Legend Trail years ago and was reminded of how fair the course is, yet still requires you to make shots. The greens were very good condition and consistent with no tricky slopes. The back nine makes you work a bit, so be prepared to carry your drives over some desert.

Played as a single and 2 of the players I was put with simply shouldn't have been playing on this course. Good guys, just couldnt keep the pace up. Hacking off tees, constantly in the junk, etc. And of course they just had to play one of the back tees and frequently hit 2 tee shots. That brings me to the marshall. Just a nasty gentleman who is a terrible representative for your club. He stopped by at one point to sternly tell me our group needed to get going and to play ready golf. We were already playing ready golf and I myself was running to my ball from the cart on the cart path and back again. It just so happened that when he stopped by I was pressing so much I had left my clubhead cover in the fairway. At my cart when I noticed, he said, "just get going, we'll get it!" When he came by again I asked about it and he said there wasn't one. From the next tee I could still see it on the side of a hilI in the fairway and tried to point it out to him, but he just took off. I later asked another, much kinder marshall and told him which fairway...still no headcover even though I gave him a specific location. I cant even review the actual course adequately because it was such a frustrating, pressure-filled round. Good condition...thats about all I noticed. It seemed nice but my perspective is tainted by the whole experience.

Was surprised by the course- better then expected. The front 9 is OK good conditions. nice golf holes. Greens a little slow . The back nine is a different course very very nice. Much more elevation, green complexes much better. Visually stunning back nine and a better let rest of golf. The back nine is as good as any public course in the area.

If your going to golf anywhere, this is the place to go for sure. Perfect everyrhing!! Absolutely spectacular!!

Legend Trail is a solid golf course. Very typical desert design, but not memorable.. Lots of forced carries off the tee make it fun for the low handicapper, but difficult for beginners. In-season greens fees are high for a course of this quality.

Nice layout , coupled with really good course conditions make this a fun course . Greens are consistent though not particularly fast . Makes for easy scoring .

Great course, conditions, and staff. Must play in the area!
