About
When the architect Rees Jones created the golf course at the Legend Trail Golf Club, he created a golf course that brings out the Old West-style air of Scottsdale and a fun and testing golf course with greens made of bent grass. It's a premium golf course smack dab in the Sonora Desert.
The golf course at the Legend Trail Golf Club features broad fairways, diminutive bunkering and tees placed on islands, and has been called one of the Top 100 golf courses by Golf Magazine. The magazine also gives Legend Trail 4.5 stars out of five among its
Best Places to Play, and has one of the Top 100 Woman-Friendly Fairways, according to Golf For Women magazine. Panoramas include local sites like Pinnacle Peak, and a round at Legend Trail Golf Club gives all levels of golfer several different shot-making options.
Golf a late-afternoon round on Friday or Saturday, and head back to the Trail's End Grill from 4 to 6 p.m. for specials on drinks and appetizers.

Great
First time playing here in over 15 years. Was in great shape despite the summer heat and the price is perfect for summer golf.
Awesome condition and pace of play
Hate to share this but conditions were great and played 18 in under 3 hours
5 Stars, best course condition for July in the Valley
Course is in great condition, greens are good, fairways well maintained. Worth to pay a little more and play here instead of the run down golf courses i played in the last 2 months. Bagdrop, Cart-girl and Proshop staff very friendly. Altogether great experience.
Great summer condition and solid layout!
Great summer condition. Unfortunately pace of play wasn’t the best. They put a shotgun start off on the back 9, 1.5 hours after we teed off on the front.
This Course is not worth the price.
During this time of the year, courses usually lower their prices for several reasons such as greens have been punched, fairways are somewhat burnt out, and the heat (100-110 degrees). Also, most premium courses have onboard GPS in their carts, and they have electric carts, verses gas ( Environmental Protection). The Tee Master on duty was very pushy and followed my foursome around for no reason, we were moving at a proper pace. The staff didn't seem very customer friendly toward darker complexion people. They seem to have prior misconceptions of people with my complexion. Maybe cultural diversity training may be in order.
A reassessment of lowering the pricing may bring more people to the course during this time of the year.
Nice layout
Course is interesting with a nice back nine. Good overall condition. Greens were in good shape but a little slow. Played in three hours which was really nice. Would play again.
Awesome shape. Played with 2 members got around in 3 hours. Lots of birdies fir us all. Top notch
Grumpy non friendly guys in pro shop. Restaurant employees were the best!
