Legend Trail Golf Club

This is a great desert course. It's beautiful, and fun to play. Greens are a little firm, but everywhere I've been, this time of year, has been the same. Be sure to get there early to hit balls, because they seem to call you to the tee box 15-20 min earlier than your tee time. Although it can be forgiving, bring extra balls, because, if it's not in play, it's in thorns. Great course though.

Legend Trail is a great golf course with some very interesting and challenging holes. It is a real pleasure to play.

One of my favorite courses in the area. Every hole is different and interesting. This is a picturesque desert layout in a residential development but the homes were built a respectful distance from the tees/fairways/greens. Played from Cooper/Silver combo tees at about 6200 yds makes for a fun round for the bogey golfer. Fairways AND rough in very nice shape with overseed rye grass. Greens are in nice shape, challenging with a fair amount of undulation and multiple tiers, fast and true but showing a fair number of ballmarks. Had a very nice lunch prior to start, proshop and course staff were friendly and helpful. Good pace of play, had a great day. This is a good value relative to other Scottsdale courses, especially on a Golfnow hotdeal. Great outing!

The course was in very nice condition overall including the greens. The use of multiple tee markers are a nice touch and will accommodate all levels of play. Fairways are generally wide enough but any errant shot off the fairway (read: desert) will almost always result in an unplayable lie. Practice facility is excellent with multiple putting greens as well as a nice driving range, chipping green and bunkers. Definitely a class facility. If I had any negative comments it would be that the greens fees can be a bit steep depending on the time of year. If visiting check GolfNow for possible discounts.

Having attended the Charles Schwab Cup a few miles away last year, we knew the area to be loaded with top-notch courses.
Legend Trail did not disappoint. If one can catch a deal at any of the courses out in North Scottsdale, Carefree, or even Rio
Verde further East, I suggest they do. Spectacular!!

course is in fine condition. the back nine is particularly fun to play. The back teeth gives it some teeth...

cool windy day, played with out of towners who were great. Pace of play could not have been better, rangers constant. Course was in good conditions, greens quite quick for early winter. Refreshments on course great and often.

The course is beautiful, the staff very friendly and the value for money great. Even though we would have liked the pace to be a touch quicker, the experience was overall very positive.

Good course but pace of play was very slow with 2 group waits on some tee boxes, why bother with marshals which they had but just kept driving by and not doing anything

We where scheduled first off at 7:30, we had a 40min. frost delay that should have been a one hour delay. Frist three greens still had ice or standing water on them making approach shots and putting impossible. we would have been happy to wait for the greens to worm up.

Front nine is easier than the back nine and front nine holes are similar. Back nine has great variety and is challenging. Overall a very fair course with greens in great condition and fun to play

Course was in decent shape. I got a rate of $44 on Golfnow, and would not pay higher than $60-65 to play this course due to green conditions. Speeds were roughly 9-9.5 at best. For the prices this course charges, greens need to be a lot faster and in better condition. Overall experience was ok.

Course always in good shape . Greens were good, as were fairways. Bunkers could use better sand but that is true of most golf clubs. Staff very friendly and helpful . Definitely recommend this course.

Live in NE Mesa and will drive a long way to play good courses, of which this one is on my Top 5 list in the Valley. Fantastic condition, greens terrific. 6400 yds a great test. A thinking mans course, have to know your yardages. Every hole challenging. With the bad Cdn $, play it now before stupid price season starts. Terrific value.

course was in good shape....luckily i had a voucher from golfnow to pay for the tee time....this course becomes quite overpriced in the "high season" so i would recommend playing it during the hot months at a fraction of the going rate now...but a nice track overall...greens are fast so stay below the hole..good layout

I don't understand why this course isn't listed more often in the top courses in Arizona. It is beautiful and has some very fun holes. I can't say anything bad about this course it is a very fun place to play.
