The Desert/Oasis Course was the Phoenician's first 18 holes, which were later joined by the Canyon nine. The aptly named course may have desert surroundings but its numerous palm trees and blooming flowers will make golfers feel as though they've been transported to a tropical destination. Although all three golf courses cover only 150 acres, none of them feel cramped. Any lack of length is quickly forgotten after playing the creative challenges of the layout. The golf course offers plenty of variety that make it appealing to low and high handicappers alike. Dramatic elevation changes characterize the Desert nine, providing the breathtaking views that have led it to be the most requested course. The Oasis nine is memorable as well with water coming into play on six holes and a unique moat of sand on the par-4 finishing hole.

Course was in good shape, but the pace of play was really slow.
Overpriced resort course
This course is ridiculously overpriced, especially for the condition of the greens. Look elsewhere for much better values for your money.
Terrible Pace / Greens Just as Bad
Stuck behind a 5-some for sure plus a rider so basically a group of 6. 2 carts and 2 scooter bikes. Not sure how the starter let this go, he joked to me that they already had a few beers and this was going to be interesting.
Over priced resort course
How they charge $150 for this course is beyond me. Greens in horrible shape.
The Phoenician worth the price
Great layout. Beautiful course very friendly staff. Course is in great condition. Hard course but fair and playable
Bad Driving range placement
Driving range stretches between two holes. Meaning the range balls litter the fairway which make it tough to determine which one is yours. Other than that, great course and beautiful views.
Challenging course
This is a nice, well kept course. Beautiful views of the city. There was a 12- 15 knot wind blowing which made the course much more difficult. The greens are particularly challenging. There did seem to be very many flat spots. Get it close or you are likely to end up with a multiple breaker. We had a fun day nonetheless.
Soggy city and lots of driving from routing
Tons of over watered areas that were soggy and just muddy. I know they are over seeding so I think it’s understandable. Some of the holes were great with the doglegs but a lot of the holes were very ho hum with lots of houses and construction going on. The pictures are wonderful but maybe had me a little too excited for what I saw.
Great course
The course was in great shape after overseeing. The greens were perfect and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Great staff beautiful back drop! Well kept course. Cart path only is always a negative to me but is expected this time of year. Covid makes it hard to truly enjoy what places have to offer so it was really good today I can only imagine how outstanding outside of these crazy times. I bet it's outstanding!
Course just came out of overseeding, so cart path only, but pace of play was still just a little over 4 hrs. Back nine is one of the most picturesque in the valley.
