Talking Stick Golf Club - O'odham Course

playing a golf course in the middle of a desert it's puzzling to me one of the carts have to stay on the path. Useless water and let the cards go to the ball. It just slows down play.

Great layout and appropriate level of challenge for a resort course. It was in great shape and enjoyable to play. Unfortunately it rained for much of the round; nevertheless after a 40 minute wait for rain we were able to finish our round. It was nice to get dry towels after nine. The staff were particularly helpful and friendly. Hope to play here again someday (when its sunny).

Price was too high for the conditions. Staff did a great job.

The course was exceptionally well maintained. Greens were good and speed was average.

Pace of play was a little slow but tolerable.

Really enjoyed the north course and highly recommend it.

Played Talking Stick O'odham course on October 4, 2018 which was only two days after major rainfalls in the Phoenix area. Amazed that we were able to drive carts on the course! Several cart path detours due to standing water but the maintenance staff were working hard to remove the unexpected 'ponds'. Pace of play slowed a little by the wet conditions, but round still done in 4.75 hours.

It was our first time playing this course and we enjoyed the overall experience.

Total staff was professional and friendly. Wide open fairways give players with varied skill levels the opportunity to play shots to the green. Greens roll true and moderately fast. We will definitely be back next year.

Was very disappointed when I showed up 45 minutes early before my round on the day off and was looking forward to hitting some balls and putting prior to the round just to find out at the range and all practice facilities were closed! BULL

this time of year I always call to check on the condition of the greens. Which I did the operator was somewhat confused about the timeline. (that should have tipped me off)

Well long story short she informed me wrong and Monday was the first day of off of aerification!

So the greens were awful

the kid in the shop tried his best to tell us they were going to be great but they weren't.

Probably won't ever play there again.

Summer in phoenix so great price but only greens in good shape; rest very dry and in bad shape

Challenging course, nice facilities.. greens rolled great.

Good course. Had fun they had a beverage cart. Green grass and sand.

The course is always in decent shape, even when it's dried up in the summer. And the layout is fun. But I've probably played here 7 times in the last 3 or for years and never had a round that was under 5 hours. it seems like they really pack you in on the weekends. And this time, we saw the cart girl once on the first green.. then never again. It's not the kind of setup where is easy to grab a snack at the turn either.

A very nice golf facility, tough at 70 for the average club golfer, had a great time.

I do have to say that the course itself was in pretty good condition. Wide fairways. Greens in decent shape. Staff was pretty friendly. The reason for the low rating is the pace of play. Ridiculous. Not sure why they have a Marshall driving around because he did nothing to help.

Played here about four years ago and I said I’d never waste my money again. Conditions far inferior to other courses in the area. I don’t like the layout. Pay a few bucks more and play We-Ko-Pa, Wildfire or Kierland.

Nothing to write home about. Very average desert course.

I won't play again.
