Talking Stick Golf Club - O'odham Course

Fairways were huge. Very big greens that were quite tricky. More traditional layout than other desert courses. I played from the gold tees on a windy day and found the course a little long (14 hdcp ). Really enjoyable day.

Was part of the first group out so our pace of play was fast. Found the back nine more challenging than the front. Pretty course with a mix of challenge and forgiveness. I would definitely play it again on another trip to Scottsdale.

Wide open fairways; course in good shape; but not that interesting. GPS antequated and didnt work initially. Marshall was very nice.

This was a nice course, but a bit of a pain that you couldn't drive on the fairways due to overseeding. That slowed play a bit. As a result, I walked the back nine, which was good exercise. It would have been nice if they had some push-carts to use for the golf bag. I somehow managed to shoot my lowest score ever for 18, so that was great!

Quite dissappointed in course layout. All holes looked very similar, no course character. Expected much more from big resort course at premium price.

Very well maintained. Greens were incredibly fast. The marshal came by several times to apologize for the pace of play, but it really wasn't bad - finished in just over four hours.

Would definitely play again when I'm in the area.

The course was decent but the layout was totally uninspired. Back and forth with no character. The food was ok but the staff was far from accommodating. Asked for lunch menu at 10:45am but not available at all until 11:00am. Wait or order breakfast was the curt response. For the money I’d never play here again.

Couldn't use driving range or putting green due to seeding, no big deal, just would have like to hit some warm up shots.

South course is closing Monday 25th to seeding time. Nice course, wish they would give Arizona residents discount, "summer rates", in winter season instead of charging us an arm and leg to golf, like ALL courses do in the winter, to the snowbirds.

Fun course. Many examples of risk, reward. Greens/fairways in great shape. The course has matured well over the past 28 years and is well maintained. Ranks in my top ten!

I basically had the course to myself. The whole round took 2-1/2 hours.

The staff was not customer friendly - the bag attendants, after saying hi to them, never said a word to me, just kept talking to each other. Plus, without warning, they had just closed the driving range and putting green - and said everybody is doing it.

Great course especially for the value. Greens were in great shape just the heat was brutal at 105.

The O'odham Course (Formerly North) is definitely the better of the two if your debating. Both are in great condition but the O'odham is a far better layout.

The course is wide open with no rough.....pretty straight forward for more advanced players. The greens were good and seem that they would always have getable pins and I really loved the fairways.....probably the best fairways I've played in the valley in the last couple month. Awesome!

But the bunkers were very inconsistent and could use some maintenance and some sand! If they can dial in the bunkers it would be top notch.

If your looking for a relaxing round on a well conditioned track......then book it.
