Talking Stick Golf Club - Piipaash Course

Driving range every space full, turf virtually gone. Mats would have been better.

T boxes rough, unfilled divots on par 3’s boxes and many wild driver swipes on the others.

Fairways were, well, fair.

Bunkers dressed nicely.

Greens firm and rolled true.

19th hole only a few fried menu items available.

For $150/ round? Other $90 options available nearby and comparable. But hey, it’s sunny and playable. No hard complaints.

Slow pace; only made it to 14 before darkness. Wish they had a 9-hole fee if teeing off after 2:30pm in the winter months.

Great course. Great value. Was a single and got paired with a couple older guys who play there often. Taught me the ins and outs of the course. Can’t wait to come back and play.

Nice fairways, greens were more difficult and nuanced than most courses. Unfortunately the foursome in front of us was very slow( Marshal was needed) and the weather (wind, rain and sleet) turned the course unplayable on the back nine. That aside, I’d play it again if the price is reasonable

The day was cool and wet, but the course held up very well in spite of all the rain. Had to go cart path only, but that was reasonable given the conditions. Had a very good time.

Have been playing this course for years.

Decided to play yesterday. 2:26 tee time.

Got there at 1:45. Place was packed. No room to warm up and hit balls, there were guys that were hitting balls for what seemed to be an hour long. Once we got playing, the pace of play was like something I have never seen. Super slow groups, ranger did not come out and push pace of play. Only saw the drink cart once in 14 holes. Because it was so slow, we only got in 14 holes before sun went down and we were forced to come back in. I paid for my father (it was his birthday round) and myself. 140 total and only got in 14 holes. Very disappointed. Did not get my value. I don’t write reviews period.... but this round just didn’t sit right with me. Things happen, I get that but the pace was unreal... so slow. Guys taking 2 tee shots a piece. I mean that adds up over time.

Didn't play well, but it certainly can't blame the course for that. Greens were pretty firm and quick, but rolled true and consistently. Pretty easy walk, very flat, with only a couple of holes with a long walk from green to the next tee box. Played with a fun group, and looking forward to playing tomorrow on the other course at Talking Stick.

We were excited to play, but it turned out to be very disappointing.. none of the divots were repaired in the fairway or on the greens. Both bathrooms on the front nine were unusable. One was closed and the other had sewer water running out under the door. We can find better places to play for the money.

We played this course for first time on a Sunday, waited on every hole and sometimes 3 deep. Was disappointed in the slow play. Stsff was very friendly but probably won't do again.

Slow play and cold temperatures late made a unpleasant round.

I've played Talking Stick multiple times and the pace pf play continues to be extremely slow; they have to address this as I hear it from many people when I play other courses in the area. I enjoy the courses but getting to the next tee box and having the group ahead waiting to tee off on every hole is ridiculous.

Greens and fairways are in really great shape., although the greens are really fast.
