About
The Talking Stick Golf Club, designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, offers two uniquely different courses that each offer many options according to your playing skill. The Piipaash course (previously known as South at Talking Stick Golf Club), with its tree-lined fairways and raised greens defended at the sides offers a more straightforward style of play than the O'odham Course (formerly known as North at Talking Stick Golf Club).
A round of golf on the Piipaash Course at the Talking Stick Golf Club kicks off on a par-4 hole that measures 405 yards from the Black tees. Three long par-5 holes ensures that power golfers will get their kicks, with the fifth hole coming in at 516 yards, the 1fourth measuring 541 and the 16th playing to 548. The round of golf concludes on a relatively shorter par 4 that measures 323 yards.
After a round of golf on the North Course at the Talking Stick Golf Club, head back to the Wildhorse Grille for drinks and a bite to eat.

Timeless, fun golf
If Talking Stick’s O’odham course is Coore & Crenshaw’s ode to Donald Ross, Piipaash is their ode to A.W. Tillinghast, with undulating greens that tend to flow upward out of the fairway run-ups, rather than the more prevalent false fronts of its sister golf course. Post-overseed conditions just aren’t as fun as when the underlying Bermuda grass is allowed to be dry and firm, but between the variety of holes and the ease of walkability, Talking Stick is one of the Phoenix/Scottsdale area’s best places to play golf.
An ok course with pretty views
We paid over $500 to play the south course and it was very average. It took 5 hours
Great course
We got a hot deal price. Still expensive but it was okay at the GN hot deal rate I suppose. Staff are great. Pace was good. I’d play it again but it is quite spendy.

The course was in EXCELLENT condition and the staff couldn't have been more outgoing and helpful!!! We most definitely will be back!
Piipaash!!
Great course all around. Grass was perfect, the layout is just challenging enough due to sand traps; greens were a little fast. Had a great time, range balls were free and finished in 4h.
Played it many times but…
This time we received a golf cart that had leftover salsa in it, a used plastic toothpick & the navigation battery died around hole 12. Katie the cart girl was great trying to restart the navigation for us but confirmed the battery was dead.
