Coyote Lakes Golf Club
About
Located in the west valley, the golf course at Coyote Lakes Golf Club combines a desert landscape and traditional design with scenic views of the White Tank and Bradshaw Mountains. Although it is modest in length and suitable for all players, the course is still an enjoyable challenge for even advanced golfers. The front nine is more difficult than the back nine with large greens and several contours. The back nine is also challenging though with several notable holes. The fairways are undulating on both and water hazards come into play on several holes. Coyote Lakes Golf Club's signature hole is the 14th, a par-3 hole that requires a shot from an elevated tee to a green that is well protected by two sand bunkers and a lake to the left.

Nice Sunset Shot Photo submitted by shortyofak on 03/19/2014
Four holes in two hours
Staff in the clubhouse was nice, staff handing out carts was either too busy to be friendly or just frantically trying to get carts turned.
Course was in good enough shape and would be fun if they actually kept pace. Over three hours to play nine on a Saturday afternoon, my fault for thinking it would be regulated.
Gorgeous oasis
An oasis just west of Sun City, where other courses are nice but flat. The rolling hills are a beautiful touch and the desert outline adds a bit of a challenge.
Average course- for appropriate cist
No Marshal, and accordingly the pace of play was well below average. There is no cart person for the whole 18 holes.
The other two individuals playing in our foursome, left the course after nine - frustrated !
The Coyote Lakes golf course could be a good course to play, but needs better management from the top down. One positive was that the carts were really good because they include GPS.
GO VIKINGS
As always the staff make the course a great place to go to! The conditions are outstanding. Greens rolling true, everything green, ducks well behaved! LOL
well done coyote lakes
i've played this course many times over the past 5-6 years and this is right up there with some of it's best conditions it's been in. wife and i paired up with a wonderful duo, father-son and had a blast on a perfect Az december day. it became even more perfect of a day shooting one of the best rounds of my life on the back nine, a 38 just missing an ace on #16 by 6 inches. this was preceded by a 50 on the front? yes, the tee boxes could use a little bit of work and the fairways aren't like the raven, but keeping the price point reasonable by todays standards, i will continue to look for openings at this course. the people are good people and the course presents it's unique challenges despite what you see on the scorecard.
Always a great time
Love the course. Beautiful setting, nice dessert style with plenty of reasonable challenges to keep things interesting
Fun round
Third time playing this course. Courses in very good condition. Greens are in excellent shape. Back nine tends to get a little tight on a few holes but very playable. I would certainly recommend this course for anyone looking for an enjoyable round of golf.
Fun course
Huge greens, especially on the back 9. Lots of break on fairly fast greens. We enjoyed our round
Accuracy a Must!
I looked forward to playing this course. However, I came unprepared for the challenge. Narrow fairways, almost immediately into desert if fairway missed. Small greens. Very little level areas with lots of rolling throughout fairways. Green very hard, with some very dry patches. Greens run fast and don't expect to see a straight putt anywhere. The course itself is a beautiful design and picturesque.
Challenging greens
Nice course, nice layout. Greens challenging. Worth the money spent.
May not be worth the drive
Course conditions were average. Liked the greens - they were tough to read. Course layout was very good.
Great day at Coyote Lakes Golf
My BIL and myself (both 70) played from the Gold Tees @5811 yds. We are both 10-11 H'cap and I would say based on scorecard suggestion that was a good fit. You don't need to be super long hitter to score well. Fairways and green conditions are in quite good shape. I wish golfers would tend to their ball marks better however and rake the bunkers. Lots of footprints in them. The round got a bit bogged down on hole # 3 with 3 groups. Things got better later on front 9 so perhaps marshal got things moving. It's a fairly flat course but there are some really nice par 3 layouts on it. Will for sure return.
Arizona golf
The course is in excellent condition. Pace of play was good. Staff were exceptional and friendly.
