Coyote Lakes Golf Club
About
Located in the west valley, the golf course at Coyote Lakes Golf Club combines a desert landscape and traditional design with scenic views of the White Tank and Bradshaw Mountains. Although it is modest in length and suitable for all players, the course is still an enjoyable challenge for even advanced golfers. The front nine is more difficult than the back nine with large greens and several contours. The back nine is also challenging though with several notable holes. The fairways are undulating on both and water hazards come into play on several holes. Coyote Lakes Golf Club's signature hole is the 14th, a par-3 hole that requires a shot from an elevated tee to a green that is well protected by two sand bunkers and a lake to the left.

Worth Playing.
I would recommend this course. My only real criticism is the pro shop staff is unfriendly to visitors. They speak and treat locals with much more consideration.
Challenging Course in Surprise, AZ
I’ve played this course half a dozen times over the past 2 years when I visit Phoenix. This course provides some nice challenges and is not your typical flat course. The green are in good condition but definitely slow. Fairways are fairly well kept. Sand traps are poor - more dirt and gravel than sand. Cart staff are very helpful and supportive. Pro-shop staff is not very friendly to visitors - they act completely different if you are someone they know from the area. I recommend this course as it is fair value compared to other courses in Phoenix.
Meets expectations
Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. For an inner city course, you get what you pay for. You are either in a fairway or a backyard. Pace of play was terrible, with very slow 4some’s front and back. . To be expected this time of year.
10/10
Very fun course and the conditions are better than you would think for the price. Other courses price gouge this time of year but this course is priced very fairly. The range uses foam balls as it is very short but everything else about this course is great. Also the staff is very friendly. Definitely will be playing here again.
Nice course
It was a great day for golf and the course was in good shape. I thought that the greens were a bit slow but otherwise it was good.
Slow play impacted the day
Liked the course, liked the staff. However slow play made experience less enjoyable as such we wouldn’t return.
Don't waste your time
Course is in pretty bad condition for this time of year and for the price. Fairways were very clumpy, pot marks all over every fairway. Tee boxes were terrible, beat up with lots of divots and hardly any grass. We paid $88 plus tax. $50 would have been reasonable. I was disappointed because we have played here in the past and it was always in decent shape. My other complaint is our fourth had an emergency and couldn't make it, they made us pay his fee. That was tough to swallow because $90 was bad enough, but to have to cough up another $90 was insane. I used to like this course but we won't be playing there any time soon, sorry to say.
A good challenge
Really enjoy our round at Coyote Lake..I had not played here before yesterday. The greens were very challenging with the different ogulations. Green s and tee boxes were in good shape. The fairways were somewhat in bad shape. Would play it again. The cost was in the mid $65 dollar range which I feel is a little high compared to what we pay for a lot better condition course at home. The green fees have gone up consistently
10/10
Easily the best value I’ve found so far this fall/winter. Other courses are obviously price gouging this time of year but coyotes lakes pricing is very fair. Fun layout, good conditions and the staff is very friendly. I’ll definitely be back.
The Fourth was sick with Covid
I did book for 4, I arrived early to the course, told them my fourth had Covid and could not make it and didn’t want to get others sick.. course charged my card for the fourth.. that is pretty crappy and not smart , trying to keep others safe.. us, staff and other golfers as well. Most people are that course are older.. could have been very serious if something would have happened.
Coyote Lakes
This course is already a bit ragged after the September overseed. Grass is sparse/thin in many fairways and many tee boxes are in bad shape. The staff is very friendly.
Coyote Creek
Played Saturday afternoon. Pace was slow on front nine as the tee times were 7 minutes apart. Picked up on the back nine and we just finished before sun set. Good value for the cost
Would play again
The course is in great shape overall. Definitely a challenging course. Beware of hole 2, stay way left off the tee box. The only complaint was the pace of play. Not sure what the ranger was doing out there. When we finished it said we were 34 minutes behind pace. We will be back to play this course again next winter.
