About
Located in the west valley, the golf course at Coyote Lakes Golf Club combines a desert landscape and traditional design with scenic views of the White Tank and Bradshaw Mountains. Although it is modest in length and suitable for all players, the course is still an enjoyable challenge for even advanced golfers. The front nine is more difficult than the back nine with large greens and several contours. The back nine is also challenging though with several notable holes. The fairways are undulating on both and water hazards come into play on several holes. Coyote Lakes Golf Club's signature hole is the 14th, a par-3 hole that requires a shot from an elevated tee to a green that is well protected by two sand bunkers and a lake to the left.

Golfer Reviews
Fun track
Good condition considering extended heat. Two hour twenty minute round in the afternoon, my kind of golf. Playable tee to green and exceeded expectations in terms of playing conditions given the intense summer heat. Great value for the $$&
Very Good Course
Still in very nice shape during these hot summer days. Greens were receptive and you could see where they had been recently punched, they rolled very smooth. Good groundskeeping crew here. People are very nice and pace of play was excellent.
First time
I had a great experience I read all other reviews before playing.
I read pace of play was an issue so I spent the extra money to get out as early as possible. The greens and around them were awesome. I will be playing again and qas very impressed with this coarse.
Thanks
Decent Course, Demands Accuracy
This course is a fun course for the price. Plenty of water and sand to keep things interesting, greens were in good shape even in the summer. Mostly every hole is very narrow with not much room for error on the tee shot. If you can hit fairways, you'll be in good shape. Anything left or right is in trouble. Only complaint was pace of play was not the best and there are no cold water stations on the course, but they give two complimentary water bottles with the cart and free refills in the clubhouse. 3/5
Fun course
Only complaint is that we had to play the back 9 twice, as the front was experiencing major groundskeeper. We were not notified that this would be the case when booking on GolfNow. Greens were hard, and fast.
Good course, terrible Pace of Play
As is typical, Coyote Lakes overbooks the course, t-times alternate every 7 and 8 minutes and given the clientele, it simply stays backed up the entire round; as a player, you will wait on every approach shot and t-box. just cut your losses and make 8 and 9 minute t-times, you'll lose about 5 slots.
Fun Golf Course
Pace was good, around 4.5 hours. Course was in pretty good shape. Some dry spots in fairways and tees were a touch beat up but greens and bunkers were very nice. Staff is very friendly and saw the cart lady 4 times. As good a place to play as most in the Valley
Oh yeah
Should hav been informed there would be a 18 hole shotgun start and we would be delayed for as long as they wanted with no compensation no food no drinks no range balls no free round the narcissist narcissism of oh yeah you finished the front 9 too quick you will have to wait until we can get you back on to finish
Unbelievable hidden gem!
I have lived in Estrella Mountain Ranch in Goodyear for 24 years.
I have the Estrella golf course 10 minutes from my house but barely rarely play it because of the high cost.
I’ve driven by the sign off of Bell Avenue for Coyote Lakes golf course for years now and always said I was going to play it someday.
That someday came on May 9, 2024. My next-door neighbor visiting from Canada went with me.
He is used to playing on pristine tournament condition courses on Victoria Island. When we arrived we noticed what nice condition all the facilities and buildings were in. It looked like everything had been recently remodeled and updated very ,very nice! My neighbor was equally impressed.
Not to ramble on , all I can say is we were both blown away. This course has a great layout- challenging yet playable for bogey golfers like me, yet not a particularly long course.
In addition, it has a great beverage and snack bar with freshly made hamburgers, etc. at a reasonable price.
I will definitely be back again, again, again and again!
Worth the price for in season AZ golf
Course has a great layout, of the courses in sun city it’s the most challenging and my favorite lay out. Good price for what you get, especially when everything gets so expensive in season.
Somehwere in Peoria
GN said Surprise AZ. Guys I played with said it was Peoria. Great greens and course design/ Other players said a company had purchased it and 2 other local courses with WATER rights in the past year and ALL the courses were looking good. The cost for NON residents is crazy unless you make it after WINTER RATES....
