Coyote Lakes Golf Club
About
Located in the west valley, the golf course at Coyote Lakes Golf Club combines a desert landscape and traditional design with scenic views of the White Tank and Bradshaw Mountains. Although it is modest in length and suitable for all players, the course is still an enjoyable challenge for even advanced golfers. The front nine is more difficult than the back nine with large greens and several contours. The back nine is also challenging though with several notable holes. The fairways are undulating on both and water hazards come into play on several holes. Coyote Lakes Golf Club's signature hole is the 14th, a par-3 hole that requires a shot from an elevated tee to a green that is well protected by two sand bunkers and a lake to the left.

Great course and Great People
This was the first time playing here and from the start the staff was great. The cart attendant gave me some pointers on the 2nd and 6th holes, which were very helpful. The course is in great shape for this time of year.
Great from Tee to Green
I haven't played this course in a few years, but I do not recall it being in this good of condition, especially this time of year. The course was letting the grass dry out as it is approaching overseed, so everything rolled farther. That said, the tee boxes were in excellent shape, the fairways were all grown out with no bare spots and the greens were all in great shape. The greens rolled slow as it appears the course was leaving them a bit furry--possibly due to the approaching overseed. The ownership is working hard to make the course a great venue.
Good Condition
The Course is in good condition!! The maintenance team does a great job. Always enjoy golfing here.
Great Course
First time playing Coyote Lakes, the course was in pretty good condition for this time of year, green and well maintained, the greens were a little slower than I'm used too, but in decent shape. Overall the course is fairly easy and I would recommend it for all levels of golfers, word of warning, if you golf in the early morning, make sure you take bug spray, the mosquitos are pretty bad for the first hour of the day.
Good Experience
Conditions were very good , matched with Interesting twosome. Played in 41/4 hours.
I recommand.
I will play again
I have played here before which is why I came back. Excellent course for the value. Challenging layout with nice old feel. Fairways were nice but greens were in very good shape, staff friendly.
Not a lot of room for error
First time on the course. Wasn’t very forgiving, but had a ball. Had to buy some more at the turn. Will be back. Ice and water was a nice surprise that not all courses doing for their patrons. Staff was awesome. At the course and in the bar. Nice job guys and gals. Won’t be my last time here.
Green Course in the Desert
Playing in AZ in August, you expect to see dead fairways on the rebound or recently aerated greens. This was not the case. Lush fairways and decent greens the whole way. Tee boxes were well taken care of as well. The added free lunch was a plus too. For $51 on a Saturday, it was a steal. The only complaint was the range. The range balls were some sort of foam plastic combo to prevent them from going very far since the range is so small. I typically don’t travel to the west valley to play courses but I’d come back for this one.
Great Course
This was my second visit and I really love the layout. What I had imagined Arizona golf to be.
Great value and service is great
Been going to this course for a couple years now and it is a great value for your money. Pro shop guys are friendly and efficient.
Overall Good Conditions
CL is one of those established courses that would benefit from a renovation. It has that old Sun City feel. That said, the course was in good shape, tee to green. The greens were a bit slow and inconsistent from one to the next, but were intact and not experiencing bad patches anywhere. There are the narrow shoots that cause angst for the wayward driver and the wall hole that creates its unique ‘go-for-it’ or layup opportunities. A fun place to play.
