Grass Clippings at Rolling Hills
About
The executive-length Grass Clippings at Rolling Hills (formerly known as Rolling Hills Golf Course) provides an excellent game and it is a very player-friendly course. True to its name, the course is quite hilly causing a few elevation changes and undulating greens. The fairways are lined with pretty trees, adding some challenge and beauty to the course. There are no water hazards but there are a few strategically placed bunkers to worry about as well as some out-of-bounds stakes bordering a few of the holes. Grass Clippings at Rolling Hills consists of ten par 3s and eight par 4s. On the premises there are also practice facilities, a pro shop, and an on-site golf pro.

Great Day with Great People
Staff was super helpful and friendly!! Made sure we were taken great care of and went above and beyond!!
Solid course
Front nine is all par 3 but the greens are all positioned to make it pretty technically challenging. Back 9 had some par 4s and lot of challenging par 3.
Over crowded
Pace of play for a Par 3 course was not good
To congested need to spread out tee times
Short course with iffy greens
First time on the course.
Checked it off my list of courses to play.
Noticed camel rides at the zoo next door.
A shorter course than expected.
Needs more work
Beyond staff friendliness, there was nothing positive about the experience. Parking was horrific as the front of the building is under construction. Playing time was over 4.5 hours with inactive marshals; its an executive course and should play far less that that. Greens weren't bad and the layout is challenging. Maybe once ther are done it will be nicer, but they will need to improve flow to attract repeat customers beyond those local college students looking for something to do.
If you like drinking play here.
Every one there was looking for there next beer. People bring there own beer on this course. Please check there coolers before they play. Thanks.
Better Before
We have played this course numerous times in the past few years. Now with new owners, press releases, increased prices and a newer "hip" vibe, we were somewhat disappointed. The Course conditions were not as good as in the past and a few holes had been "improved". However, the improvements were a bit (again) of a letdown. The good would be the staff and the ability to play at night. What is shocking is that this course was commanding some premier pricing ($90+) and apparently getting it. For us, this would be the last time we play there as there are better courses and better rates available spread out over the valley.
Recent round
It would be nice if they would give some relief for disabled golfers.
This is a par 59 course. They are working on improving the grass but have a ways to go. The greens are in good shape.
I could not find it on the website but there is a practice range at the course.
