Forty-Niner Country Club

Tee boxes were non existent, fairways were mainly dead, greens had huge chunks taken out, all around the green was wasp infested mud puddles, they say pace of play is enforced but it was indeed not I asked to play ahead of a group of guys 70+ years old and they got moody and started being rude and even kept taking multiple shots onto the green kept dropping another ball and putting overall worst experience on a course in Tucson.

Tee boxes have all dead grass. The fairways were a mixture of either mud and/or caliche and dead grass. The greens were not much better and had cut marks like an ice skater had gone over them. I won’t miss this course when it goes under. Good riddance

Aerated about a couple of weeks ago so it's a bit rough.

Some Tee boxes in need of grass. Slippery.

A lot of water on the course in some areas causing some puddles.

Course need a lot of work.

Course was much drier than normal. Monsoon rains are delayed this year.

Would have been nice if we'd been advised of recent aeration and sanding.

Greens aerated and sanded right now. Course grass is a little uneven in some places so good be wary cutting the corners on dog legs. Overall cool course. Very nice chipping set up. Would come back for that alone.

Not on the course but more of a PSA for new golfers. Dont try and and pick up everyball you see thinking it's up for grab. Especially if there's a group behind you. And definetly don't spend 5 minutes every hole searching for lost balls when there's someone behind you.

Was a few minutes late to tee time made the call to let them know , they were super understanding and got me in and out to the tee box always enjoy my round at forty niners . Thanks for having me !
