The Grand Lady
Randolph North was a course we could not play as under 12 juniors, so I grew up with a healthy respect for it’s long par fours and tree lined fairways that turn into torturous penal colonies if your drives are not long and accurate . Try making par from 225 out on a green the size of football helmet. A deft touch with the wedge is a must to shoot a good score on the raised, rounded greens. If you can play well on this lovely… You can tee it up anywhere.
Always a favorite for a late afternoon nine or an early morning round of 18 (36 if you got the gusto), Randolph North is a test for any level.
Nice Municipal Course
This is a very enjoyable golf course for an afternoon with friends. It does not present a lot of challenges or very interesting holes in much of the water that used to be a feature of the course has been removed. The rough is extremely difficult to navigate as it is both thick and long.
It’s a fun municipal course I would highly recommend anybody playing it. It is very expensive and walkable both of which make it very playable.
Walkers paradise!
Great walk. Nice greens. Oversees is looking great. Bev cart girl was terrific
We’re back!
It’s been since 2013 that I’ve played this fine little course. It is evident everywhere that Tucson has again made this course a priority. What a fun day..
No cart and no refunds
There was no cart accessible this day but we had our reservation cart included. So they give us buggy in exchange that’s all. They say that it’s wasn’t there problem…no refunds for that
Better than expected
After a couple of years of poor conditions Randolph North is back. Fairways, greens, and bunkers were all excellent. Tee boxes were inconsistent. Rough was pretty challenging but playable.
Good course
The course itself had some bald spots but it is summer (107 degrees today) in Tucson. The beverage cart is your best friend and she did well.
1 Issue John Rada
I love the course. One complaint. After the 5th hole there two groups on the tee box for the rest of the round. Only saw the ranger once.
Randolph North
Today was our first time to play this course. Loved it! A nice, in-the-middle-of-the-city public course. We will definitely be back!
