North at Randolph Golf Course

The course was in good shape. It was cart path only so we expected the play to be moderately slow but it was compounded by a threesome that was extremely slow. It took us over 5 hours to play the round and we had to wait at least 10 minutes for them to play our shots on almost all of the back 9. There wasn't a group in front of them for the last 8 holes. We never say a marshal on the course monitoring speed of play.

New management is on the ball. This course is a gem in the heart of Tucson.

Great muni course. They just went through overseeding and Dell Urich is closed. It was cart path only. I turned into a 5+ hour round. I usually get done with this one in a little over 4 hours.

I've been playing Randolph for over 20 years and I've never seen it look this good. Tee boxes, fairways, greens and bunkers are in phenomenal shape. Wish it wasn't cart path only until December though.

tree line fairways with plenty of room to launch your drive, good size greens. the greens really are rough with bumps and not true rolls. overall fun course to play with marginal greens.

Golf course is in real good shape for so late in our hot summer. A few rough spots on a couple of greens, but fairways, rough, and tee boxes all well maintained. Course staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodative. They suggested I could tee off on 10 since there were several large groups in front of me on #1. Played the back 9 with few other players. Front 9 cleared when I made the turn. The new service of cleaning your clubs at the end is really nice, that never happened when the City ran the course. New management has really improved the course and atmosphere.

Tee to green Randolph North has vastly improved after the new management settled in. Tee boxes are in fair to good condition. Greens run fairly true but are a tad slow.

No one on the course. Overcast and drizzling. Greens were a bit slow but everything else was good. Three hour round.

Since OB sports took over the management of the city golf courses there condition has steadily improved. We had a nice overcast day, and the course was in good shape.

Fairways were being thatched but not to the point where it was unplayable. Greens in great shape for this time of year. Enjoyed the round. Finished in 3 3/4 hours.

for the price it was a very good experience. it is a course well laid out for the average player. It is a very player friendly course.

Nothing special here. It is a decent layout that is kept in good condition. It's not a hard course. Central location in Tucson is a big plus. Everything you expect from the average muni course. I personally like the Del Urich course ( it's sister course) better.

As expected Greens were rough due to aeration. Other than that course was nice.

Played Randolph North for the first time. Course was in great shape with the exception of the greens. They were punched and still need 3-4 more days to bounce back. Fairways were in excellent shape with no brown patches that I found. Course is very straight forward and open, but could be boring to the more advanced golfer.

Desert courses have their lure, but Randolph North gives a traditional course experience where few such options exist in Tucson. With a course rating of 72.1 from the back tees (blue tees), it gives a solid challenge without being punitive. New management provide a very good experience. ++

Course was in excellent condition. Greens were rolling true and fast. Generous fairways, with strategic hazards. Good test of golf. Fun layout. Good value at GolfNow discounts.

very nice very happy excellent price for great course

This was my first round since 1995 when I used to live here in Tucson. I was pleasantly surprised to find a much improved course! Course conditions were excellent, fairways, greens and bunkers. I will definitely be back to play Randolph North.

It was a pretty good round. The wind was up a bit which added to the challenge. Food cart didn't have any sandwiches and the snack bar was out of hotdogs and brauts. Greens were fairly good, but a little slow. Overall, we enjoyed our round and had a good time.
