Crooked Tree Golf Course in Tucson has a traditional layout in a secluded, peaceful location with no homes around the course for miles. The golf course features player-friendly, generous fairways and small greens that are surrounded by ample chipping areas. Located in the Sonoran Desert, there are ironwoods, mesquites, and saguaros situated throughout, providing a beautiful landscape and a relaxing atmosphere. Great Value
Nice course for price. Greens are very consistent and fairways are well kept. There was a frost delay so very busy but the pace was reasonable.
wide open spaces
very good course for those who occasionally hit a wayward shot. The ball is usually in play, with no houses to worry about. The fairways and greens were in very good shape. The pace of play was ok - our group of high handicappers got around in just under four hours.
Very good municipal course
A very busy course but once you are on the course it is great. The cart paths are a disaster but the fairways and greens are fine
Slow greens/terrible bunkers
I play this course often. Usually the greens are good and everything else is fine. Decent value. This time the greens were extremely sluggish and the bunkers were dried clods and really unplayable. I will be back again
I cancelled the tee time and you charged me the 5 bucks on my credit card
From now on I will call the golf course and get the same deal without your convenience charge

The staff was very friendly and efficient
We really enjoyed the course. Our other twosome was a lot of fun and we made new friends. They helped us on all the holes because they played there a lot. The course was in great shape and the staff was so nice. We will return.
Well worth the money
Fairways and greens were excellent. Course was busy and pace of play a little slow. Well maintained facility and well above average staff.
Too much waiting
Second time in the last few week that we played this course. Had to wait at every hole as seemingly everyone else. Just under 5 hours. Good thing we had great partners and lots to talk about.

Very pleased with the quality of the greens. They were easy to read, true, average speed. Great views of the mountains on such a pretty day.
Good value
The course I would consider a desert course. The green were in good shape. Getting lower scores is possible especially if you stay on the great green fairways. Teeboxes definitely need to be leveled.

Crooked Tree Golf Course
Played in Jan 2018. Staff was friendly and overall course was in pretty good shape. Greens were very good and the high point, bunker sand was the low point. Good value and I will play again.

we had a pleasant round of golf on an excellently laid out course. afterward, we had a most pleasant time at the bar and met others who enjoy Crooked Tree and its amenities.
Nice course
This course seems to be paying more attention to playing conditions, as they seem to be improving year by year. Pace of play was a little slow this day, but that could be because of more holiday players.
