Great Saturday for golf
The weather was perfect. Greens were rolling true and in great condition. Fairways had an excellent overseed. Pace of play for a foursome of not so great golfers could not have been better. We were neither pushed nor held back. Had a 9:50 tee time and tee-ed off at 9:48. Finished the round at 2 PM.
Very good conditions.
The course was in excellent condition from tee to green. Greens rolled very smoothly. Could use more tees for players with less length. Overall fun experience and just a great day on the course with very little waiting. Will definitely play again and so will our guests from up north.
Waited on almost every hole
The course is in great shape for January. Actually love this course. Lots of different holes. Played the gold/white combo. Think some of the white should be gold and vice versa.
My experience booking was terrible. My experience on the course was not much better. Had to wait on at least 16 of 18 holes. Should be able to play in 4 hours on a good day.
great location and excellent greens
It is a very busy course but moved along well. Good variety of challenges but not overly challenging. Will return for sure
Course was in very good condition especially for winter.
Greens
The greens are very smooth and well mowed which is important to me
Always a good experience
Played in under 4 hours on a Sunday morning. We had two fun golfers to make up our foursome. Course is always in great shape and forgiving enough that we always start our Winter golf at Crooked Tree. We return there regularly during our months in Tucson. We've always enjoyed our rounds at Crooked Tree.
Close to home
It was all good. Thank you.
I never have any problems at Cooked tree, but once, the lady at the snack bar charge me for a cup of ice.Someone mention cart paths, yes a little bumpy, but other than that the course is always in good shape and bunkers have sand!!!!
Disappointed
I gave this an overall "fair" review in that the greens and fairways were in acceptable condition, but between the greens and tee boxes, the land was very rutty and in very poor condition. It was also hard to figure out where the next tee box was - poorly marked (actually no markings at all, to indicate where the next tee box was). We will definitely not be going back there, very poor quality for the money we spent.
Great greens
The course conditions were excellent in both the fairways and on the greens. The only minor negative comment would be the condition of the cart paths and the "bumpiness" of getting around some of the areas. Otherwise an excellent course to play and the staff was quite helpful.
First Time
Nice course, first time playing in Arizona.
Crooked Tree
Good course conditions. the green on the front nine were a little fuzzy but its overseed time.. Great day of golf overall. Nice friendly staff.
Crooked Course has great features
Water and Bunkers come into play
Crooked Tree some other time
I have played this course during the summer and had a decent game and it was an easy course. However during their reseeding I would recommend you go somewhere else. The fairways were very dry and hard. Every green that I hit would not stay as the we're roughly cut and as hard as the cart paths.
Overseeding
Course was scalped and hard. They are overseeing next week. Love the layout. Wish Golf Now would alert golfers of overseeing.
