Los Caballeros Golf Club
About
Rancho de Los Caballeros offers everything from horseback rides through the desert to hot stone massages at the spa. This historic dude ranch is also known as one of the state's most popular golfing destinations. Golf Digest ranked the Rancho de Los Caballeros golf course in the top five in Arizona and nationally, it's ranked in the top 100. The layout sprawls across rolling terrain and incorporates two large lakes into the design. The course climbs up 2,100 feet at its highest point providing stunning views of Vulture Peak to the south and the Bradshaw Mountains to the north. The par-4 13th is the signature hole. It features several changes in elevation and a small, undulating green that is also heavily guarded by bunkers. In addition to the course, the golf club at Rancho de Los Caballeros also has multiple driving ranges, practice putting greens, and there's also a short-game practice area.

Great Course
Great Course and a Great Value, Very friendly staff and the course was in great condition. The only draw back is that there is no ice chest on the cart and no cart person.
Ausome Ausome Ausome
If you havent played this course your're missing out. I live in Anthem and would join this course in a heartbeat if it wasnt 55 min away. This course every hole is different in very condition the staff is ausome no one was playing cheap beers did I say ausome course. Truly my 2nd favorite course to play out here next to Quintero but a better bar and staff here. Take the time go out and play this course and have a wonderful day as I do.
Los Cab
This Wickenburg course stands with any of the top PGA courses in the Phoenix valley and the views are outstanding. The staff is country friendly and professional. Worth the drive, wish I was a member.
Perfect desert course
Located near our home thus was my first visit to Los Cab. Got a great deal on Golf Now. The clubhouse is visible from the road, rather unusual for a resort course. Pro shop is well stocked as would be expected at a resort.
If first opinions count do not base anything on numbers 1 and 10 both of which depart right in front of the clubhouse....because after these 2 straightaway holes, this course becomes beautiful and engaging. Fairly wide rolling fairways flanked mostly by large homes set back but well hidden. Most fairways have gentle undulations while several have substantial elevation changes. The course is well but fairly trapped. A visual gps is essential to help manage the course.
Out Wickenburg Way is the local town slogan,, come and play
Great time
Windy, challenging, great sand traps and beautiful views
nice layout
A good layout with friendly staff. Greens and fairways good. I would definitely play this course again. When we played we had no one in front or behind our group, played in under 4 hours.
Great course... very enjoyable
We had never played this course before. The tee boxes, fairways and rough were in as good a condition as any course we've played this winter.... good challenges with lots of sand traps and challenging holes... We found the greens were a bit hard, making for very challenging putting... All in all, a very enjoyable outing... we'll play it again.
worth the drive
Great value for the money. Played 18 holes with a friend last Saturday and we will be back! It's a bit cooler with the elevation as well. The course was in great shape and the staff friendly. A good range, and practice area. The restaurant is the only thing I didn't like:super small portions, expensive, and not much on the menu. Restaurant staff was young and clueless as well.
Worth the Drive!!!
This course never fails to represent. Played again for the fourth time and got paired with three other players. Just like the other times I had played Los Caballeros the gentlemen I paired with had never played the course. They were amazed how well the course was maintained. The weather was perfect; high 70's with a slight breeze, so on the elevated tees it was just awesome. Breathtaking views combined with great greens and challenging unique holes made the day a great experience. As always Los Caballeros is worth the long drive. Every golfer who believes greens make the round has to play this course at least once.
Quiet location in the foothills!
Only negative was several of the green pin placements were on a slope, tough to one or two putt!
Tough test of golf
Course is in great shape with hard fast greens. It's a tough test of golf.
A+
Well worth the (easy) one hour drive from Scottsdale. Great, lush, green trak with elevation changes, thick rough, good greens and even sand in the bunkers!! Very nice staff that make you feel welcome. Got a really good twilight rate on Golfnow... and they sent me off 20 minutes early. I've played 4x since arriving in the Valley of the Sun. For value, experience, course conditions and variety-Los Cab is easily, easily the best.
exceeded expectations
Course was in fantastic condition not a bad lie in the fairway . Pace of place was great. Staff was very proffessional & accommodating. Greens were slightly grainy. Truely a hiďden gem
average
Greens were not in good shape, minimal yard markers, bnot worth the.money, even for March golf.
LosLos Caballeros Golf Club Review
Great golf course, excellent condition. It well worth the money. Very nice and pleasant staff. Good food service. Staff was helpful in cleaning clubs, being helpful I drove from Scottsdale, AZ and this course is well worth the drive
Scenic views
Some great views, great pace four hour round.
Elevated greens were a problem for our wives.
Worth the trip.
The staff in the restaurant and pro-shop are extremely courteous and professional.
This was our first, but certainly not our last time, playing here. We had lunch in the restaurant and the food and the staff were great. The members in the pro shop were courteous and very helpful, even trying to help me put the course on my skycaddie, which wasn't successful but not due to them. The course is beautiful, the greens great and the sand traps have good sand (unfortunately I tested it several times). I highly recommend this course as one of the true gems of the Western Phoenix area.
Beautiful Course
We played Los Caballeros over the weekend and it was a great experience. Staff was extremely cordial and helpful. They offer free, all you can hit range balls to warm up and putting green and chipping area are in great condition. Course offers multiple tees to choose from and there is more than one ball washer per tee box. Fairways are in great condition and are fairly wide to accommodate a few mis hits. Bunkers actually have sand in them!!! Greens were a little hard so most approach shots didn’t hold so well and we would get additional roll out than planned. I had trouble reading my putts as the greens did have significant break and are super-fast. Plenty of elevation changes that featured mostly down hill holes and some uphill greens as well. Pace of play was spectacular! There was a group a hole in front of us that never slowed us down and a group a hole behind us that we didn’t slow down even with stopping to take pictures and enjoy the scenery that this course offers. All in all, I would definitely recommend this course to anyone and yes, the hour drive from Phoenix was definitely worth it.
An experience to remember
The golf course was in perfect condition, but as a golf course it is not exceptional. The fairways are wide, there is little hazards, and course is forgiving. The greens are elevated and fast. There is poa in some making them rough in places. This being said it is a wonderful experience to play where there is no traffic noise, wonderful views, and the feeling you are blessed to be in such a place. We went for golf, but it would be a place to stay ride horses, do golf, and enjoy life
Beautiful golf course
This course was just beautiful and so well maintained. I love the fountains on a few of the holes. What I loved the most was the ball washers at the WOMEN's tees, you never see that.
It also was a beautiful day that made it all worthwhile. I would recommend to all of our friends here and visiting from MN. As a matter of fact I already have.
