About
Rancho de Los Caballeros offers everything from horseback rides through the desert to hot stone massages at the spa. This historic dude ranch is also known as one of the state's most popular golfing destinations. Golf Digest ranked the Rancho de Los Caballeros golf course in the top five in Arizona and nationally, it's ranked in the top 100. The layout sprawls across rolling terrain and incorporates two large lakes into the design. The course climbs up 2,100 feet at its highest point providing stunning views of Vulture Peak to the south and the Bradshaw Mountains to the north. The par-4 13th is the signature hole. It features several changes in elevation and a small, undulating green that is also heavily guarded by bunkers. In addition to the course, the golf club at Rancho de Los Caballeros also has multiple driving ranges, practice putting greens, and there's also a short-game practice area.

Worth the drive
Enjoyable golf course with some quirky design features.
Only negative is the fact that the fairways and greens are overwatered.You will have a lot of mud balls, so much so that you may decide to play lift clean and place even though it hasn’t rained for days.
Just Okay
Plenty of hyped up reviews of this course yet very average in almost every way. Green speed was good but so soft that every foot print showed. Bunkers were well taken care. Fairways and tee boxes were fine but the rough badly needed a trim to even find your ball. Difficulty was 6/10 but certainly not worth the drive from PHX with other fantastic options in the area.

Course has everything you need for a fun challenging day of golf
The tee boxes and fairways were in good shape. the greens were receptive to approach shots and were lightening fast. It had some challenging holes. I got a great rate as a hot deal. I would definitely make the drive again.

Fantastic course with fantastic views
This course is one of the best courses I’ve played since moving to Arizona. The staff here are excellent and the course is in very good shape. There was no roll on the shots so I had to go up a club on every shot but I enjoyed this course very much.

I love Wickenburg, AZ, and Los Caballeros is my favorite golf course to play there. Staff is very friendly. Course conditions were excellent coming off of over-seeding. Can't wait to return.

I play this course 4 or 5 times a year and it is always in great shape. The staff here always treats us like we play there every day.

Great day at Los Cabolleros
We had 3 foursomes that played. Our home courses at Sun City Grand are in overseed so we did a road trip to your course. We had a great time and will come back at least once a year to have the experience.

Lush after overseed
Played here straight after they came off cart paths only after overseed. The grass came in great but the rough was very lush and long making it very penile. Greens ran perfectly and fast. Always one of our favorite destinations

First time
First time over played here Staff very friendly, especially the guy out front. Course recently seeded and wet. Long rough and no roll Played long as a result. Pace was very good even with cart path only. Good group. Would love to play here when the grass is cut and it’s a little drier. Would recommend

Great desert course!
Great desert course. Friendly staff. It had just opened after reseeding and was very green and a little spongy but it was still close to 100 so I am sure it needs to be. Cart path only which gets a little tiring in the heat. We will return. Club house was limited due to Covid-19. Was pleased they were careful.

Nice Experience
Course had been reseeded for Winter just 2 weeks prior and was lush and green. Only complaint was the course was very wet from watering - no rollout on Tee shots. Greens were soft and spongy. Good value and overall experience!

Not as good as usual
I make a special trip, 4 hours one way, to play here and it has always been one of my favorites. Today, it looked great, but the rough hadn’t been mowed for awhile and reminded me of the US Open I just watched. The greens were so wet that you could see your foot prints and it was like putting on Velcro.

This is a wonderful course, only down side to our round is that the course was too wet, sometimes you were sinking into the turf and greens!!

Great course!
Overall, the course was in good shape, although the greens were damp and somewhat slow. It's a challenging course but not back-breaking. I would strongly recommend it to everyone.
