About

Rancho de Los Caballeros offers everything from horseback rides through the desert to hot stone massages at the spa. This historic dude ranch is also known as one of the state's most popular golfing destinations. Golf Digest ranked the Rancho de Los Caballeros golf course in the top five in Arizona and nationally, it's ranked in the top 100. The layout sprawls across rolling terrain and incorporates two large lakes into the design. The course climbs up 2,100 feet at its highest point providing stunning views of Vulture Peak to the south and the Bradshaw Mountains to the north. The par-4 13th is the signature hole. It features several changes in elevation and a small, undulating green that is also heavily guarded by bunkers. In addition to the course, the golf club at Rancho de Los Caballeros also has multiple driving ranges, practice putting greens, and there's also a short-game practice area.

Desert Secret

Even though recently overseeded the course was in excellent shape. The staff were fantastic from the time we opened the car door until we left for home. Best kept secret in Wickenburg. We will be back.

Cowboy Golf Wickenburg

The weather was in the high 70’s. Practice range was spacious and included in green fee. Not very busy mid week. The scenery of the mountains and forest areas is beautiful. This is a resort so you get amenities if you plan to stay. Course is a little hilly keep the ball in the fairway . I like the horse stable on site. Finished 18 in just over 3 hrs. Not bad . I get stiff when the round is slow play . Worth a visit.

Disappointing

Hadn’t played here in a few years & was told they are under new ownership. Used to always brag about this course to anybody I golfed with. Course is not worth $50+ that we paid to play. Fairways & tees are sparse on grass @ best & greens need work. Bunkers are hard with not much sand. Used to love this course but sorry to say I won’t be back anytime soon

Great Day

Greeted in the parking lot with a cart and courteous good morning! Course is in great shape and we played 18 in 3.25 hours. Love the front nine layout, especially #7 par 5 at 560 yards with a lake in front of the green. We had a great time and will be back.

Beautiful golf course

Beautiful golf course. Would definitely play it again.

Would be nice if the cart paths were paved.

Mostly up-hill fairways and up-hill greens. Kept asking myself, when do we ever get to hit down hill, I rely on roll.

So with that being said, I thought it was challenging (I have a 22 index). And I would come back to challenge it again.
