Beautiful Course!
This course is expensive but well worth the cost. The views are nothing short of spectacular! The people are all very friendly and everything is up to date and more modern than some courses. Each cart has GPS built in and the course is in very good shape. It tended to be a bit more challenging than many course, and I scored worse than I'm capable of doing. All in all it's a wonderful experience and we look forward to another visit!
Gem
This course was an absolute gem with its majestic views and design.
did not care for back nice extreme elevations and blind holes, awkward layout, finishing holes not bad
An Ace of a Day!
Love this course! It’s in our top five public courses in the Bay Areas. We grabbed a great Hot Deal, and had a wonderful day. Excellent course conditions, very few players (so no pace issues). Had an Ace on 13, so might be biased, but it was a fantastic day! Only disappointment was the pro shop was closed when we got back, so was unable to talk about Hole-In-One documentation. Still bought drinks for the whole bar, though. Great bartender and food service. Will be back when we can grab another Hot Deal!
Beautiful course
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of playing at Carmel Valley Golf Club, and I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional condition of the course. The fairways were well-maintained, the greens were pristine, exhibiting a perfect level of firmness and speed. The bunkers were strategically placed, providing a challenging and rewarding experience.
The surrounding area was equally impressive, with its lush greenery and picturesque landscapes. The staff members were both attentive and friendly, ensuring that my experience was truly enjoyable. The driving range was also pretty nice, even though off mats instead of grass.
I anticipate returning to Carmel Valley Golf Club in the near future.
Beautiful day at Carmel Valley Ranch
The course was in excellent shape !
My husband and I got out before an event and we flew around the gorgeous course .
Perfect 90 degree weather with no humidity .
Greens were rolling nicely and the sand was very consistent . Unfortunately the driving range was closed for repair so that was a bummer . Staff was super friendly .
We will be back next year .
Windy on the Back 9
1pm tee time because I wasn't staying at the lodge made for a sunny and ultimately windy afternoon that added an element to the elevated tee shots. Great views and course is pristine!
Worth it
Well maintained course. Front nine a bit resort style. Back nine more challenging and lots of ups and downs. Not sure if we just had bad luck but had a super slow foursome in front of us that several of us had to go through so pace of play was painful for a long time. Very nice pro staff.
Missed tee time. Didn’t play.
This is a fun course I have played it before. So I was disappointed to have to miss my tee time. Will I get any credit with my golf pass?
My Golf Now Ap has not responded since yesterday so I couldn’t contact it to cancel. One star to Golf Now Ap
Well Manicured Neighborhood Golf
The Goods:
- well groomed tee boxes, traps, and fairways
- nice staff
- interesting green topography
The Bads:
-literally surrounded by close condos and houses 80% of the time
-crammed short homes
-gets sort of creepy on the back nine lol
-impossible to walk - cart is basically required
-every hole you feel like you are either crossing a road or cutting through someone’s back yard
Summary - feels like a housing development that happens to have a course.
Great course
Played 4 times over our 4 week stay. A must play
course if you are in the area.
Played during aeration
Played last day of aeration at half price and it’s a bargain. Some fun holes. Tough course to walk. Absolutely beautiful out there and some holes with amazing views. More than a few shallow greens that can be tough to hold. Fun day though.
