Black Horse at Bayonet/Black Horse Golf Course

Overall good, sand traps are still below par…. Greens just aerated

The greens and tee boxes were punched and sanded. No notification of this.

Played with wife and on 3 red tee boxes they had sprinklers running on it so she had to tee off from area parallel to tee box if there was a flat spot or from white tees.

Staff friendly. Perhaps wait a few weeks to play after greens and tee boxes are back to normal.

Very challenging course from the blue tees. I personally like the combo tees the best. Fairways are tight but rough is not to tall. Greens very hard to read the first couple of times playing but you can get use to them with time. Club house and bar are outsranding

Great course I had never played, Very scenic and very challenging

No sand in the traps. There are many and not one had more than.a 1/2 deep. You’re a couple miles from the beach for crying out loud ! I’ll call first in the future. If they have t added sand I’m not going to play here.

Loved Bayonet very good course, Black Horse a lot tougher greens some seemed a little unfair, very small greens that don’t hold

this was my first time on the peninsula and with so many choices on where to play i gland i chose Blackhorse. what a great day of golf.

Just love this course. Great conditions and views. Plenty of room if you miss the fairway which makes for a stress free round. Love the bar and grill after the round for a drink and some food. Dress warm and have a great day!

The Black Horse is always fun. The course is challenging but fair. The greens were faster than I remembered but that might just be me.
