Black Horse at Bayonet/Black Horse Golf Course

Beutiful course ,staff was very kind from the kitchen staff to the clubhouse and on the course . I was going to play by myself but hooked up with two other gentlemen and had a ball . Can't wait to go back . OH the weather was beautiful.

I have played twenty different courses in past two months and this is the first one that did not aerate or sand. Greens don’t hold

Our favorite saying during the round was “welcome to black horse” due to the super super unforgiving greens

Greens very sloped and steep to a point of being unfair...expect to three putt or worst!

First time playing, and I will definitely be back. Very enjoyable layout. Very fast greens. I had the ball roll back to my feet a couple of times after getting within a few feet of the hole. Some serious elevation changes and some picturesque views. Great value for Monterey!!

Since finding these two courses I have been back every weekend thereafter, which says if you are looking for beautiful views, challenging hole layouts, fast greens and great staff, this is the place.

Greens were super fast and pins were in very tough locations. Multiple putts by all 4 in the group rolled off the greens and into the catch areas.

I think that is the fastest speed the greens have ever been there.

the course was in great condition, the staff was great and weather was good. The greens are fast, but in great condition.

Outstanding golf experience on the Monterey Bay the greens are both challenging and fun.

What a great two days of golf. Bayonet will give you all you want with challenging 18 -holes of golf. Blackhorse is a more playable course for middle handicappers. Loved the diversity of both courses. 2nd trip back and will be back again. Pro shop guys were very helpful each day.
