Black Horse at Bayonet/Black Horse Golf Course

A nice course but the degree of construction that disrupted almost every hole was very disappointing. Also, one of the big plusses of the course in the past was the view of Monterey Bay. Shortly, when all the construction of multi million dollar homes, those priceless views will mostly be gone for good. Nice if you can afford the homes. Not so good for the regular golfer.

The morning round is the best! The kool oxygen just jacking up blood.

It didn’t faze until I added up the round you don’t want to know I want to forget, I’ll be to back to ride the Blackhorse soon!

Sand traps are very heavy and crappy condition. Restrooms are just portapotties. Lots of ground under repair. Price is way too high for what you get…if they don’t drop the price while conditions are crap, go somewhere else.

This is a great golf course. It is under construction, but fantastic nonetheless.

Actually trending in a good way. Course was recently overseeded and fairways were better than they have ever been (more grass, no hardpan). Excessive lumps of clippings and torn up in a lot of places off the fairway but cant wait to see it all tuned up

Starter Don was cool, most of the feont desk guys were rude and not helpful

Great course and value. 2 issues. Unplayable conditions just off course with development occurring and as BH front 9 does not end at clubhouse for turn the traveling cart should be stocked with sandwiches and not just snacks.

First , course staff needs a program on customer service…grade D-C. Second, very slow play, lack of course marshalls. Tee times booked to close to each other.
