Legacy Golf Club

Nice practice range, friendly staff, and a nice clubhouse bar. Pace of play fairly good until the last few holes where it started to back up a little (unusual for the off-season). Reasonably good course conditions considering recent heavy rains, greens were very quick and true. Good value.

For $89 a person, this course is not great. The pace of play is slow an the course, while challenging is no where near as nice as courses that are close in proximity such as University Club and Espalanade.

Most of the players will not let you play through and there is no one in charge on the course.

This is way overpriced.

My dad and I are on vacation and wanted to play. Found this course and decided to book it. The course was really fun. Challenging but fun. We got grouped with 2 other guys that lived in the neighborhood and they were very friendly and fun to play with. We got a free draft beer and a pizza to go with the round. Carts were super nice and maintenance was on their A game. Will definitely play this course again.

Got a great price from GN for 1pm looked like rain me and another single played never had to put on a jacket. Course was in great condition considered it rained earlier. Played behind a foursome who played quickly. They volunteered to let us pass at the turn. Played in a little over 3 hrs.

Decent course but not one that I would play again. Staff was very friendly. Thought it was odd that they charge you for a small or large bag of range balls. Should have been included in the price. Layout was nice but condition of course was average. Tee boxes were just ok and greens were patchy and bumpy. Bunkers were ok. Decent but not a course I’d return to.

Great experience visiting this course with my wife while on vacation in Sarasota. Very challenging course with spectacular views and wildlife. Very friendly staff, too! Great weather. The day was just incredible. Would definitely play this one again.

The course is just ok and the practice range, water stations,, club house product selections, and overall experience is well below the standards of most other courses in the area. It’s a shame, you can see the potential but there appears to be a shortage of funding/investment across the board.
