Legacy Golf Club

Many scenic holes. Water comes into play on many holes and bunkers are strategically placed throughout the course. The greens hold pretty well and are fast.

Pace of play excellent!

Completed 18 in less than 4 hours.

One minor complaint When driving on cart path, several holes have over hanging shrubs / bushes which you need to maneuver around.

If the appropriate tees are chosen, the course offers a challenge without being penal. Like other Palmer courses, long carries are routine and placement off the tee is necessary to score. There is water on most holes, bring extra balls fr the mid and high handicappers. A real treat!

I played Legacy today for the first time. Great layout and the course is in great condition. Fast greens very well groomed fairways.

This was my first time to play Legacy. I was paired with a couple of friendly guys and they were bogy golfers like me. It was a perfect weather day with low humidity. I shot an 87 and enjoyed the course. Got it on Tee Time for $31 so it was a good value too! Nice course!

course was a bit wet, but to be expected.

I heard it was challenging and that is true! Loved the course can’t wait to play again!

I heard good things about Legacy, but will not return until I hear that someone has put some money into the course and trains the staff. It was busy at arrival, 1 cart person scrambling. Was told I was joining 3 guys at 756, just see the starter on first tee. After practice, headed to the first tee and no starter in sight…3 guys waiting on tee said they were part of a huge group and were going off at 815…when I asked where the starter was, they laughed and said welcome to Legacy. They were kind enough to let me play with them. The course has an interesting layout and 2 beautiful holes on the back. Fairways were decent in most spots, greens rolled ok…outside of fairway was poorly maintained and tee boxes were overgrown with weeds, terrible condition. Even the mowers had no courtesy. Saw us come up to the tee and just continued to mow right at us like we were not even there. Carts were run down with no gps and no water machines on course. With dozens of better options in the area, they will not be getting anymore of my money. 2 stars for the 2 nice holes on back and 3 very polite old men that allowed me to join.

Only issue was the airaded greens, but all Florida courses are in the same boat there. GREAT lay out gators in the lakes as you hit over them. Playing from the tips really changes the course layout for the better.

Course had just punched the greens on Monday. Would have been great to know that in advance!. Pace of play was horrible. How can you not have a ranger on course for the prices you are charging?? Had to call the course while we were on the 10th to get them to send someone out. They did so fairly quickly which was nice but I shouldn't have to call in the first place.

This is a very fine golf course and deserves 5 stars!!!

The course was in great shape and the pace of play was right on point. Even with the slight FL rain delay, we finished the round right at 4 hours.

The course is challenging and in good condition. My only criticism is that the golf carts all appear pretty beat up and I would expect better for a course this nice.

Love the layout, lots of water. Fun and challenging. Make sure to play the best tee box for you. It can make the course more fun if u play at your appropriate level. The greens were at a faster speed which I like and fairways were nice. Can't wait to play again.
