Legacy Golf Club

The course is well designed but the conditions of the fairways are not up to the standards of this good of a course and the fees they are charging .

I was excited that this course was reputed to be making a comeback, and maybe someday it will be back to its original glory that I remember from the late 90’s and early 00’s, but it’s definitely not there yet. The greens will not hold approach shots well at all, and they roll about a true 7 speed. I’ve played municipal courses with faster greens, they’re bordering on absurdity. Layout is great, but playing a round in sub-5 hours won’t happen on a weekend or during season. Saw the beverage cart 2 times and had to chase it back down the fairway toward the tee. No ranger on the course. It was definitely not worth what they’re charging. I’ve booked 100+ rounds through Golf Now over the years and this is the first time I’ve felt compelled to write a negative review.

Six sets of tees encourage you to take on more than you should. I played much longer than I often do and it just about ruined my day. Since the course is already challenging, be sure to stay within your limits, It's well maintained and a great layout. Greens are large and moderately easy to hit but the day I played they seemed to be slow. Really hard for me to get the ball to the hole. Maybe I didn't get close enough on the approach! Overall, an enjoyable course.

Course was great. Will definitely come back. A couple of suggestions: the cost of gps on carts is insignificant. Makes the pace of play faster. And letting us know the bathroom keys are on the golf cart would be nice...

There's a lot I could say, not much of it good...but here's my honest opinion having played countless courses here.

This course is tired and beat up.!!! very busy, no marshal, 5 hour round and no reason for it. The greens are full of divots, fairway parched but it;s just so down-trodden

If the course is this busy get a marshal out and keep people moving - I was hit into and had to drive back to let the group know a) we're not going anywhere and b) don't ever hit into the group in front of you.

For me, save the free lunch and drink put the money in the course! or someone's salary to increase pace of play! - and a free bag of range balls would be nice...ps no hot water or towels if you want to clean up after...just saying a little effort, a little management make a world of difference

Legacy is in good shape. They top dressed the greens this morning so a little slow. Course layout is nice. Tons of water and with the big wind gusts getting into the 20's today some of the holes were extra demanding. Never saw the refreshment cart on the front 9 and at the turn at 3:09 we were told she was done and gone for the day. Not great on a hot day.

Course is average in playing conditions for fee expected. Range balls should Be? Included as they used to be. The course is challenging fo the short hitters. Greens slow but true.

The rate was not comparable to the quality of the course.. Several holes were special but most were average.

Pace of play was not good and ranger's response was bizarre.

Other courses in area are in better shape and not as expensive.

Despite the cold and gloomy weather, the day was enjoyable due to a challenging layout and a friendly threesome that I joined. It is important to play from a tee box that takes into account your driving abilityand skill level. Do that and you will enjoy the day. Extend yourself and it will be most unpleasant.

Even though the weather was like playing in Scotland, we enjoyed our outing at the Legacy. The Greens were in very nice condition, And overall the course was excellent. This is a very challenging layout and had several very difficult part threes.
