Legacy Golf Club

If you can get a good deal it is worth playing. The maintenance has went downhill at this course. There is a lot of weeds and a few of the Tee boxes were mostly weeds.

Had not played in a few years. Was very disappointed in course conditions. It was wet, not their fault. however, conditions not about wet were bad. mowers ruined wet fairways, bunkers had no sand, tees had little to no grass, weeds everywhere. this was an above average property, not now. Can't believe everyday prices. even at golfnow price not a value.

First time playing Legacy in 2 years and I was literally shocked at the conditions. I paid $17 to play today and that's about all it was worth.

Tee boxes were abysmal. No grass. Covered in weeds and most of them were just dirt. Fairways were decent, but some knucklehead trenched most of them trying to mow when we've had about 10 inches of rain this week. Can't fault the course though for muddy conditions. Greens are mostly dead and painfully slow. Sand traps have about 1/4" of sand. Under that 1/4" of sand is hard pan dirt, so don't expect to be able to blast out of a green side bunker. Impossible.

Middle of summer and not one single cooler of water on the entire course. Saw the beverage cart once. That was on the 3rd hole. Never saw her again. We played with two tourists from Illinois and I actually apologized for the shape of the course. As a local, I was embarrassed.

The pace of play was excellent because THE COURSE WAS EMPTY! Arnold Palmer should be ashamed to have his name associated with this golf course. And yes, as soon as season is back, this cow pasture will be charging $100 to play it. I am convinced that these reviews that say how amazing and beautiful this course is are employees of the course. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COURSE!!

Legacy, currently not in good shape - poor conditions:
Fairway not cut, sand traps gravel pits, putting green need work - try rolling them.

Wouldn't recommend to any golfer to play. This use to be a prime course to play, this is my second time within 4 weeks this course has been in poor conditions. ...

Course is beautiful. Food was fabulous. Staff was informational and accomodating. The only issue is that we didn't know before we booked that you couldn't drive carts onto fairways. This made for a very long round of golf.

Only bad thing was my own choice to play middle of the day. WAY TOO HOT!!! Course is well maintained and challenging.

Must hit em straight here a lot of fun to play the staff here was awesome first time here but feels like you know everyone

greens super slow. Paces group 0715 AM 2 2/12 hours front nine. No ranger. Great layout but not the best of condition

Overall good golf outing. Only suggestion: some tea boxes in poor condition.

Excellent value to play a course that would normally cost much more. I'm a FL boy along with the other 3 that made up our foursome therefore we can take the heat as most decide not to play because of it. The course was in OK shape the greens were average and not as fast as we would have preferred but an excellent value. We had the course pretty much to our selves as it was to warm for most.

The course is in the worst shape I've seen it in years. Tee Boxes are overgrown with weeds on several holes. Fairways are in decent shape, Greens are ungodly slow and very patchy. Lots of weeds growing up through the hardpan, sand traps are hard as rocks after the 1/2 inch of sand. You can tell that after the course sold the new owners are cutting costs in several ways.

I play this course a couple times in the summer when rates go down. Took advantage of the early morning special but must have been to early for the summer starter since I had to wait for a two some to come to the first tee to pair up with someone. Since there was no starter and no instructions from the clubhouse we paired up and played in front of another two some on a Sunday morning. Luckily the round went pretty well and we were done under 4 hours. Good round of golf. Course could use some help on some tees but after that it played fairly and after greens dried out a little the putts were a little faster and nice. Made a few birdies and lengthy par putts to shoot a nice 75. Might book again this weekend.

Golf Now Price was right! The Track is extremely challenging but it was in poor condition all around...

Disappointed in overall condition of course. The superintendent must be on vacation. Some tee boxes just dirt. Areas surrounding greens were unkept. Hole locations had not been changed in at least a week. Greens still recovering from aeration, but almost there. It's a shame when a good course allows conditions to fall below par. "AP" would not be a happy camper if he saw the current conditions.

The entire course was recently aerated so the greens were terribly slow. The front nine were better than the back nine, but this wa he only check against the course - though I knew this going in. Great design, nice layout. I agree with what they said, "Arnie was a bit ornery when he designed this".

2 1/2 stars mainly for layout. Conditions were terrible. Greens and tees were not good and i can say i don't see how they could ever have been good. Free lunch with green fee, but no cook to make us lunch. Play somewhere else.

The course was very nice. The fairways were ok. I had a great time golfing at Legacy.

Everything went as expected. No problems. The course was challenging but fair.

I feel like we definitely got our money's worth, but would like to go back when the course is in prime condition. There were some brown spots on a couple of the greens, and the fairways had been recently aerated, but overall we had enjoyable outing.
