About
Peridia Golf & Country Club in Bradenton is a player-friendly, 18-hole, par-60 course. It's gentle enough for beginners and even juniors at 3,344 yards from the back tees. The course sprawls across gently rolling terrain. The elevation changes are subtle but they can be tricky. There are trees along the fairways and water comes into play on a few holes. You'll also find a few strategically placed bunkers along the greens but there's nothing overly difficult. Peridia Golf & C.C. finishes with its longest hole, a 323-yard, par 4. There are out-of-bounds along the left and a large lake along the entire right side. This tricky hole also has a sand trap to the left of the fairway and two more on either side of the green. It's tough, but with a good drive you'll be able to hit a short iron onto the green.

Decent short course
Good conditions of tee boxes, fairways, and greens. Greens were slow though but consistent.
Pace of play was slow due to beginner golfers. Good place to practice iron game.
Very pleasant staff.
Worth the money. Nice electric golf carts.

Vacation Trip
Incredibly friendly staff. Multiple tenants to help get you out - I spoke to 4 course attendants in uniform prior to hole 1. I teed up afternoon and got paired into a 3some - played first 9 under 75 minutes, groups ahead and behind. Course is very short - 150 yards off the tee covers 100% of the tee balls or par 3s. Crisp lines cut in, greens full and roll well. Smaller greens with tucked pins is what made it a shooting game. Greens were a bit slow so you could fire the flat stick at will and have no repercussions. Not sure if there was a cart person? But there’s a pro shop and full restaurant that seemed lively. If you’re ball speed is over average, then maybe rip the driver once at the 295 hole, but otherwise, it stays in the bag. I shot well, I think everyone did because of forgiving putts. You will shoot well, you will come back again. I recommend it if you’re on the fence.

Last minute
I found an opening for two people about two hours before I wanted to play somewhere. When I arrived and parked, it was a gentleman with a car right there for me. They were very accommodating in the pro shop, and the course was extremely well-kept, even though it’s a smaller executive course we had a wonderful time and I will go back.

I will be back! Love this course. Play can get slow at times but it is worth it to play this executive gem.
