About
Peridia Golf & Country Club in Bradenton is a player-friendly, 18-hole, par-60 course. It's gentle enough for beginners and even juniors at 3,344 yards from the back tees. The course sprawls across gently rolling terrain. The elevation changes are subtle but they can be tricky. There are trees along the fairways and water comes into play on a few holes. You'll also find a few strategically placed bunkers along the greens but there's nothing overly difficult. Peridia Golf & C.C. finishes with its longest hole, a 323-yard, par 4. There are out-of-bounds along the left and a large lake along the entire right side. This tricky hole also has a sand trap to the left of the fairway and two more on either side of the green. It's tough, but with a good drive you'll be able to hit a short iron onto the green.

Enjoyable and Reasonable Round
I was skeptical about not playing on a par 72 course. But I really enjoyed myself and finisher in 2 1/2 hours
I was not allowed to play because I was not wearing a collar shirt. Although I was wearing a modern highly rated long sleeve UV protection modern apparel that had no collar.
The staff suggested I purchase a new collared shirt on sale at 40% off.
I refused his offer and played next door at River Run golf links which by the way was in great shape.
BTW, Capital one has canceled my purchase on golf now. The lesson here is next time find the better value where I can protect my sensitive skin problem.
In my 20 year golf adventures I have never been rejected by a chump behind the counter.

Course is in excellent condition. Staff are friendly. Tiki Bar had a delicious selection.

Very slow play
Love this course but no ranger resulted in waiting on every shot. We finally gave up after 10 holes and on the way back to the clubhouse, observed 3 1/2 open holes ahead of us. No wonder we had to wait. This is not an inexpensive course so today was certainly NOT a good value.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course.
