Peridia Golf & Country Club
About
Peridia Golf & Country Club in Bradenton is a player-friendly, 18-hole, par-60 course. It's gentle enough for beginners and even juniors at 3,344 yards from the back tees. The course sprawls across gently rolling terrain. The elevation changes are subtle but they can be tricky. There are trees along the fairways and water comes into play on a few holes. You'll also find a few strategically placed bunkers along the greens but there's nothing overly difficult. Peridia Golf & C.C. finishes with its longest hole, a 323-yard, par 4. There are out-of-bounds along the left and a large lake along the entire right side. This tricky hole also has a sand trap to the left of the fairway and two more on either side of the green. It's tough, but with a good drive you'll be able to hit a short iron onto the green.

No driver required, short executive style course
I think I used my driver on #1 that’s it. Fairly tight track. I’d walk next time due to pace of play this time of year. The course was in great shape. Tee boxes, fairways & greens are comparable to courses charging twice as much. Full staff & ranger once again make it seem like a $$$ club. Tiki bar on site if you like a 19th hole.
Too many leagues
Very slow, leagues every day in am. Average age 75. Locals in subdivision have taken over the place. Very short course. DO NOT BOOK.
Peridia
Great course, perfect conditions and the starter was a gem of a guy.
Great pace of play
Played 18 holes in 2.5 hours. Three of us played and we moved quickly. I didn’t realize it was only 3000 yards long but it helped me get my practice in and I would recommend playing this course if you want to enjoy a day golfing and having a better time then playing.
One of the best executive courses anywhere.
Peridia is in really nice shape. The course is well cared for by a hard working crew. The layout is not very challenging, but it is a fair test of short game skills. Fun to play. We play the course often and usually enjoy it unless pace of play gets too slow. Now that the busy season has arrived, it would be good to have a ranger making regular rounds. No ranger today, and the pace was slow, but not painful.
Don’t Play Here- Walked Off
First of all- this is an Executive Course and not worthy of “country club” monicker. It’s made up of mostly very short par 3’s with a couple of very short par 4’s. This should be PROMINENTLY featured in Golf Now but it appears w the “real” courses when doing a search.
Course was in very good condition. Pace of play was slow- even for a Saturday.
I’m an average golfer but this was a disappointment! Walked off after 10 holes. Finally, flag on 8 was fractured and I ran a length of fiberglass into my right hand retrieving ball from hole. Obviously- won’t be back!
