Peridia Golf & Country Club

About
Peridia Golf & Country Club in Bradenton is a player-friendly, 18-hole, par-60 course. It's gentle enough for beginners and even juniors at 3,344 yards from the back tees. The course sprawls across gently rolling terrain. The elevation changes are subtle but they can be tricky. There are trees along the fairways and water comes into play on a few holes. You'll also find a few strategically placed bunkers along the greens but there's nothing overly difficult. Peridia Golf & C.C. finishes with its longest hole, a 323-yard, par 4. There are out-of-bounds along the left and a large lake along the entire right side. This tricky hole also has a sand trap to the left of the fairway and two more on either side of the green. It's tough, but with a good drive you'll be able to hit a short iron onto the green.

Great practice course
The course was a nice test for irons and chipping It was extremely hot and humid so the round was tough but not the courses' fault. will play it again
Rained out
We could only play 12 holes and the rain came down.
I’ll be back
Love this layout because I can work in my short game
That’s truly where I can save strokes
It’s in good condition
Putts roll true on the green
Can’t ask for more than that
Nice course for elderly golfers
The course is always in great shape and has become one of our favorites as we get older. With a par of 60, it is a good test of your short game and putting. The restaurant is a good value for after your round.
Worst game of my life
Admittedly, not the golf course’s fault. It is definitely a challenging layout with quite a few water, hazards and narrow fairways on many holes. For some reason, I also decided to develop a solid slice on my drives, despite historically never suffering much from this problem. I am ashamed to admit I lost 15 balls. Some days you’re the bug, some days you’re the windshield 😭
Excellent experience
I have no complaints or criticisms. I’m looking forward to playing Peridia again soon!
Great short track
In great condition overall. They had recently punched the greens but that is normal this time of year. Love playing there to work on hitting clubs you don’t use as often on a full length course.
The greens!
The greens were completely sanded over. We should have been told and given the option
Possibly the worst course ever
Greens were literally covered with 3 inches of sand. I understand the maintenance but lack of transparency is infuriating. You literally are putting through a bunker. A day’s golf ruined.
