River Club is a popular Ron Garl-designed golf course famous for its unique moundings and positioning of grass and pot bunkers. Front nine are open with all elevated greens. River Club's back nine at are cut into the woods. There is water on 16 holes.

Getting better

Third time in past 2 months i have played it and each time see things improving. Good value for yhe money this time of year. Greens are now rolling at nice speed.

Over 5 hour round

Great course in great shape

Cart dude is not too pleasant and rules are over board

Carts too sensitive and gad to call the clubhouse to unlock them

Speed limit of 3 MPH in some spots would be funny if it were a joke

Pro shop and Restaurant staff are great

Ranger was out there so I don’t why the people in front of us were not nudged, it was brutal

We just bought a new cart fleet, and the gps system is taking some time to get dialed in. Sorry for any inconvenience. Trying to keep conditions excellent for our amazing customers. And everyone loves our cart staff. They are just doing their jobs. Tony

Needs a Marshall

Only got through 11 holes before sunset. Started at 210. Group of 15 on the 18th green as we were driving in. Was backed up from them all the way back to hole 10.

We have a ranger on course 7 days per week. If you experience slow play, call pro shop and we can send staff to see what is happening on course. There is slow play holiday week, as people are on vacation and golfing with family. A 1 star review for the course? Not a very fair review. Rates are best in town for a course in this condition.

Mixed Feelings

The course except for a few wet spots is in really good shape.

Love the design and conditions. Groups in front of us were brutal on pace. No golf etiquette at all. Ranger was out so no idea what was going on. Unfortunate for me my game is geared for a 4 hour pace and no longer than 4 1/2 hours. The round took us over 5 hours and barely finished, putting in dark just about.

Cart attendant and cart rules are tedious not so welcoming. 3 miles per hour speed limit in some areas are hilarious. Carts are very restrictive and way way too sensitive. I feel like big brother is watching and have call to get cart unlocked from the 100 💯 yard marker 15 feet of the path. A little annoying at times. If the course wasn’t really good I would definitely go somewhere else.

That said all the other staff from cart attendants, pro shop and bar area are first rate

I’m rating this course as a good value for what you pay. Greens running good, fairways good, sandtraps are the only bad thing. No sand but not their fault as they had 4” of rain day before! I would play it again if price stay where it at!

Course was really nice, beautiful day, new carts

Only one little thing the carts turn of when you are nowhere near anything now an then, just a little annoying but nothing drastic

Even shut off one the first whole while on the cart path

Probably need a little tuning
