P.B. Dye-designed Black Bear Golf Club offers good value and a challenging day. Six sets of tees give you plenty of options. This 18-hole championship facility course, located within 45 minutes of the Orlando attractions boasts of a complete practice facility that includes a double ended driving range, as well as a 40,000 sq. ft. short game area.

Always Great
BB is always in great shape and always plays well. This is one I will keep playing as a regular. No complaints here.
First impression
Let start with,I’ll be back. Being a seasonal for the first time in the area I have trying different courses. Absolutely loved this course as it has he feel of a big time course. The amount of bunkers is intimidating but I only found one all day. The condition of the course was very good. The reason I didn’t give this course 5 stars is that I hold that for truly exceptional courses. Think Pinehurst #4.
A good test
The course is in good condition. The greens are a little slow but roll true. Tees and fairways are fine. The heavy rain last week has washed out some of the bunkers. There is just enough rough to impact wayward drives. The greens are long but very narrow. Being elevated makes them difficult to to hit particularly on windy days. A large driving range and putting green gives you plenty of space to warm up. The new carts are also a plus. Black Bear is playable for all skill levels as there are not many forced carries. Even though it’s playable, the bear does have teeth and is very tough to score well if you don’t have your “A” game.

Great facility overall. Great new carts and the fairways and greens are in great shape.
Good But Windy
The course conditions were pretty good, but the windy conditions made it more difficult. No fault of the course, just a bad day.

Love the course
The course is in great condition, from tee boxes to greens. The greens roll fine although they were just punched a week ago. The staffs are very friendly, challenging and fun course!
Love this place
Greens are. Little fury right now. Another 2 weeks with cut n roll after the punch which looks like it happened a month ago. Fairways lush. Great tee boxes. Love this place. One of my favorite tracks around.

Nice course have played it several times, the only drawback was that the started aeration that day so had to play
front 9 twice.
Consistently Good
Course was great from tee to green. Yes the greens were punched but to maintain this gem it has to be done. The putts held fairly true regardless. One of my favorite courses and will remain that way. The staff is super friendly, courteous and helpful.
