This 18-hole championship facility course, located within 45 minutes of the Orlando attractions boasts of a complete practice facility that includes a double ended driving range, as well as a 40,000 sq. ft. short game area.

Great course
This is the third time I came back to Black Bear to play. I introduced two new friends to this course, they absolutely loved it. The course is well maintained. The tee boxes and fairways are perfect, grass around the green is trimmed perfectly for chipping. Green is also in great condition just a bit on the slow side. I played the black tee, it's quite challenge. Some holes are long, greens are small, definitely not an easy course for lots of GIR. I'd say this is one of the best courses in its area. Grill room is also well stocked, had beer and some sandwiches, no complain. Will come back play again for sure.
Greens
The the greens would have slowest I have seen in Central Florida you have to use your driver on them
Black Bear
The course was ingood condition with very feiw exceptions. I just wish covid would allow cart person again. So Hot. Love the course ungelations.
Signs of the times
Greens were slow but consistent. Fairways were great. Bunkers are in summer conditions due to rauns. Would play any chance i could. Hopefully greens will be faster and bunkers better next time!
Good course & good conditions
Tees, fairways, and greens all in very good condition, always a good layout. Enjoyed the round
Horrible conditions
Greens were slow! And in very very rough shape. Dead areas on most holes and in overall just not worth the drive or value. You can tell it use to be a cool course and has a fun layout but the conditions and pace of play will never have me returning
Late was perfect
The google maps directions aren't even close to accurate and I am thankful. I arrived on time, but in golf I was late and missed my tee time. Ugh! Played as single for first 2 holes and caught up with twosome at the par 3 third. Pace of play was perfect throughout round. Course has definitely changed since the last time I played here. Some bunkers are gone as well as some trees and even a redesign of one of the par 4's. Definitely would recommend this course and really glad I was late.

Course was great from tee to green. There were a few areas that needed some sod. The fairways were great. The greens fast and deceptive. The rough was fair not impossible. Full bar and restaurant after your round. I’ll be back soon.
