Nice course, pro shop, staff gruff

Have played Black Bear before it is a tough course. Fairways were in good shape, greens kind of slow, but ok. Guy in pro,shop muct have had too much responsibilities—he was rather gruff and complaining. They did not have starter so people were just going out on their own. Luckily, I found someone to pair up,with and had a nice day.

The course overall was in good shape, for this time of year. Have to hit it straight as fairways are narrow and greens are small. Wish the greens were in better shape but overall course makes you think and shape every shot!

Excellent practice facilities

State of the art practice range. Pace of play excellent(3:15). Greens good. Fairways had grass, but lies were tight. Rough was dormant grass or sand. Definitely worth a trip to play.
