About
South/North is one of three golf courses at Fernandina Beach Golf Club. The facility is home to three distinct nines that form three different 18-hole combinations. Winding through thick forests of oaks and pines, Fernandina Beach Golf Club's South/North course offers a glimpse at native Florida wildlife. The South nine depends more on accuracy rather than distance while the north nine, the shortest in length of the three, features undulating greens. Water hazards also come into play throughout the golf course. Fernandina Beach's 27 unique holes are made even more appealing by the affordable rates and convenient proximity to Jacksonville and the beach.

Fernandina beach public golf course
A nice local golf course.
Simple layout.
The staff is excellent
Improving all the time
You can tell they are really working at improving things. The fairways were in good shape and the greens are getting better. LOVE the new electronic carts. Great addition
Course is greatly improved
I've been playing this course for 25+ years and this is the best shape it has ever been in. The new managers are doing a great job. The fairways have good grass and the greens are smooth and true. The look and feel of the grounds and the facility is much better too. The food and drink choices have been improved. I definitely recommend playing here.
The place is like a goat pasture.
Cannot say anything good about the condition of the course. The layout is pretty nice but the everything else is in very bad shape, Greens are bumpy, fairways are overgrown, rough is not well maintained, some of the tee boxes have no grass at all
Staff was nice, and got paired with two nice players so enjoyed the company
Good bang for your buck
Nice course just needs maintaining better. Sand traps needed work and lots of divots in fairways. Overall not bad at all just needs some work.
