Great course!
Greens are well kept. Has challenging fairways. Very well kept course for the price! Recommend highly!
Nice test of golf !
Wife and I just got here from Ohio a few days ago where the temps were 30 below zero so obviously this was a treat ! It was a pleasant surprise to find Trident Lakes Golf Course and we will definitely be back soon. Staff was so nice getting us going and telling us about the course. Course was in really good condition considering that even down here they have had some extreme weather lately also. Greens were fast a very smooth. Had a blast ! Thanks Trident Lakes !
5 somes
My friend and I have been playing there for around 10 years. We love the staff, the course and most everything about the course. We live in Fernandina and drive to Kingsland to play the course because we like it so much.
HOWEVER, we are certainly not fans of them allowing 5 somesuns flaying other then when there are events that allow that. We recently played (Thursday the 28th) and it took us close took us over 2 1/2 hours to play the front 9. The problem was not the fact that there were 5 players playing,- even though that is rarely allowed on courses, but the fact that they sepend just as much time "socializing" as they did playing golf. Every time a player was setting up to hit their ball, the other 4 guys were out of their carts and chatting. I am an old codger myself, so I am aware that some of us naturally move a bit slower than others, but there is no logical reason-other than just plain disregard for other golfers- for them to discuss every shot by every player. NONE. - on most holes- beginning on hole number 1, there was ar least one hole completely open in front of them and most times 2 holes. Some golfers just by passed holes to get around them and they still had at least a hole completely clear EVERY TIME. We faunally drove around them on the 8th hole after waiting for 1`o minutes for them to hit their second shots and one one or 3 were on the green 0n a par 3. And this is not a one time thing. We see it quite often, but this situation was way beyond reasonable.
We have decided that the next time it happens, we will immediately drive around them to the next tee. Nobody likes to skip holes or wants to be rude about golf etiquette, but why should I worry about being rude to someone who personifies rudeness by ignoring basic golf etiquette.
Great condition.
Tee boxes were in great shape. Greens very fast. Great course. Played after a morning tournament and players did not fix many of their ball marks on the greens. 😡
Great Course
Nice addition to our golf journey. My wife and I love golf but our skill level has declined with age. We really enjoy Trident Lakes. We have been paired with some very nice people.
This course is a treasure.
Everything about this course is great and a joy to play. I wish it was closer to where i live 63 miles away.
Hidden Treasure
Love this course but cart stoped working and had to call for a replacement. Continued on but lost place in play. Otherwise, I love this course,. I only wish i didn't live 63 miles away. Will see you again soon.
The best all around
Everything with this course was great and a joy to play. I just wish it was closer to my home but was worth the 63 mile drive.
Over booked
Course was overbooked and had to wait at every hole.
NIGHTMARE
We really like this course, usually in good shape, good value....however, yesterday was a nightmare. Our t-time was 11:05 and on the first hole there were 5 twosomes!! No starter to coordinate pairing up/organize. We waited every single shot, most times 2 groups on tee when we got there. We ended up skipping 3 holes on the back just to move. Not fair to paying customers. It'll be a while before we return.. Too bad
