North/West at Fernandina Beach Golf Club
About
Fernandina Beach Golf Club is home to three distinct nines, the North, South, and West that make up three different 18-hole combinations. This 27-hole facility boasts a unique configuration on each of the nines for a truly diverse golfing experience. The North/West course at Fernandina Beach Golf Club combines the longest nine, the West, and the shortest nine, the North. The North nine features undulating greens and water hazards but the generous, wide-open fairways of the West nine make the golf course accessible to players of all skill levels. Native foliage in addition to towering oaks and pines throughout the course allow for a scenic escape in addition to an excellent round.

Grass is growing sgsin
Fairways and tee boxes were in great shape. Lots of areas do need immediate cutting due to recent rains and fertilizer use. Greens a little bumpy due to recent treatment.
Great municipal track
Fernandina Beach is great shape. Played the West and south nines, the west side had recently been punched, but for the most part had a really good roll, fairways were in great shape and the tee boxes too. The south course was in the best shape since I played their last time. Each green was in great shape along with numerous fairways and tees.I only wish I could’ve finished with a better score to cap off the round. Not the course’s fault but my own.. the practice screen was closed due to renovation, but I’m sure it’ll be in great shape soon. Keep up the great work.
Surprisingly good
Haven’t played here in a while because it was in poor shape for so long. Booked it cause I needed a quick round in before a golf trip. Course was in very good shape. Greens were curing from a recent punching ,but rolled good. It’s good to see the progress Agro is making.
If you haven’t played FB recently you should check it out.
Improving
West course was in good condition, greens were nice. South course, greens had been aerated and were bumpy and slow.
Challenging course that the city has put a lot of work into it
Fairways Improved
South course has seen a lot of improvement in the fairways.
Greens were recently punched.
Fun course with potential
This is a fun course with a lot of potential. They do seem to be working on some things (tee boxes) but the fairways are decent and the greens do play fairly true and not bumpy like other courses for the same value. Looking forward to the TopTracer range to open soon! Will definitely be going back.
Very unfriendly pro shop & poor rental clubs
Very, very unfriendly guys in the pro shop x2. No smiles, no welcome & absolute minimum of information given and only on request. The rental clubs are very old and poor quality - you get what you pay for here (v Amelia River which is twice the money but well worth it) although good manners should be free. The course needs work......
Great Progress
Coming along very very nicely from a long time user.
