Just north of the Jacksonville Airport, Fernandina Beach Golf Club offers three 18-hole courses that are conveniently located within distance of both Jacksonville and the beach. There are three distinct nines at the club that create three different 18-hole combinations. The West/South combination is the tournament course at Fernandina Beach Golf Club. The West nine is long and there is a challenging par-5 that is one of the most difficult on the golf course. The South nine features an abundance of trees and water hazards, putting a heavier emphasis on accuracy rather than distance in scoring well. The golf course is also considered a perfect example of scenic Florida golf with native foliage and wildlife throughout.

Fernandina beach golf course
The course has a good layout. The problem is the shape of the course is not good.
The course is still in winter mode but challenging and fun. This is my fifth time playing… so my return is a bit of an endorsement as to the enjoyment factor.
Good to get back in the groove
Played with my wife. 11 am tee time weekday not crowded. Great new carts. Pace was very good. Some bare areas due to winter weather. Still good place to warm up and price is decent
Disappointing.
Could be much better . There have been recent improvements but doesn’t justify current green fees relative to local options
Not great
Nice staff and a good layout but the course is not in very good condition, even for February. Price is good gorwhat you get.
Great potential
The west and north courses were in pretty good shape. The south course needs time. South just needs to shut down so it can fully bounce back. I grew up playing these courses, so I know they can be great. You can see the great design and potential as you play, they just need some TLC. Staff are great and the range is top of the line.
Sub par experience
Course in extreme winter condition. Bare fairways and sanded greens. Though they rolled well, and were very playable Dated clubhouse
Awesome setup
First ever time playing this course highly recommend playing here friend and I played yesterday March 3rd and it's a very well kept course conditions were nice little breezy but to be expected, layout is a bit challenging but foe the most part very fun to play. We will definitely play again
Sad greens
The course was nice and fairly easy for all levels but the greens are in very bad shape, The golf carts are very nice as well as the bathrooms
