About
Since the opening of Bent Creek Golf Course in 1989, the 6,420-yard, par-71 course has provided a challenging golf experience for residents of Northeast Florida and visitors alike.
Crafted by renowned architect Bobby Weed with consulting services by Mark McCumber, Bent Creek's meandering terrain takes golfers through a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, towering pines and alongside creeks and swales. The championship layout boasts Bermuda grass greens, plush fairways and a state-of-the-art lighted practice facility - home of the Bent Creek Golf Academy.
From the back tees, Bent Creek carries a rating of 71.6 and a slope of 136. The challenge starts with the first hole, which measures 538 yards from the gold tees, just 20 yards short of No. 15, the longest hole on the golf course.

Bent creek in December
Great course for this time of year. Greens were is ok shape but to be expected. Other than some leafy areas on the course. It was great. Looking forward to playing it in the spring.

Tee boxes need help
Overall the course is in good shape. Unfortunately the tee boxes were not over seeded with rye grass and it is noticeable. Outside of that flaw go play and enjoy the day.
Great Value
Bent Creek is consistently a good quality course to play for the money....it is a tough layout, but conditions are generally good and enjoyable
Consistently good
This course, under the auspices of Billy Casper Golf and the Audubon Society, is always fun to play. A fair test of all skill levels. Plays to a par 71. Always in good condition and maintained well. Skillful ground crews. Pro shop is small but staff are friendly.
Course review
Course was in ok shape still a little wet. Layout is great. Good challenge for the average golfers. I had a great time. Will be back.

The course is in good shape
Second time playing here in 2 weeks and the improvement to the #1 green is noticeable. Grass was not cut as close on this hole as the others but it is understandable as the areas that needed repair grow in. I have nothing negative to report. Fairways and greens are well maintained.
Nice course
It was very windy .when I played but I still had a good time
Great value
Got a great deal on Golfnow. Got to course and got right on, ahead of my tee time. Got matched up with 2 gentlemen and I played well. Other than the 1st green, the course was in great condition. The 1st green has been a problem for a while now, but it looks like it has turned the corner and will finally be ok.
Nice course
Great course but tee times too close together. 3 groups on the first hole waiting to tee off!
Annoying
Had a group behind us hitting their tee shots when my group was less than 100 yards from them. Tee times need to be spaced out more on a more challenging course like this one.
